i wonder what will happen to XBL bandwidth tomorrow, i remember the Halo 3 E3 trailer almost killing it.

Ah an achievement named after yours truly. I have reached infamous level (perhaps speak to Bungie about the misspelling).
I figure about 500k.
In fact, I think the beta wont be such a strain on ms servers, since it's only available to those. A popular run of the mill demo might easily garner more downloads than that I figure, since it's available to all.
However, I suppose the demand for Halo 3 may be much more concentrated at it's moment of release due to high hype factor, which may pose a issue.
Plus i think as part of last XBL update they increased bandwidth didnt they?

almost all of the copies have the the beta AFAICT and Crackdown sold around 1 million copies.
although not all have gold nor will DL the beta. I still expect quite a rush on LIVE tomorrow am though. :smile:

(2 hours behind schedule, I wonder if we'll even see it today at all. My friends and I certainly won't be in a position to play until much later today even if it comes out before noon Pacific, now)

VV People who got in free can download and play right now. If you bought their (really good) game? No. Maybe Crackdown is such a great deal that we shouldn't be able to play the first day or however long it takes them to fix their mistake. =P

Christ almighty, some people need to remove the chip from their shoulder.
I am more upset that people are complaining they bought the "shitty GTA clone" just for the beta, than the beta being delayed.
Not to sound like a fanboy but Crackdown was a pretty good game. It might not be the greatest game ever but it isn't bad.
