First Killzone screenshot/details? So says USAToday..

Probably Norton updating in the background;)
It probably chokes on your PC because you stream (which means your not playing the video from your harddrive like on your PS3:LOL: ).

Actually either the video (HD version) was encoded with problems or the game is stuttering (if so VSync on for the game). I have ~18% CPU usage and 29.8fps video playback with 0 dropped frames. Though nothing strange if the game has framerate problems since it is still pre-alpha.

Guy missing shadow :p

Indeed, I did only noticed the low res wall:p

Look how is shoulder and elbow slides into the notch in the wall! Procedural animation blending with pre-canned animations.

Been waiting for games to pull stuff off like this well for a long time!

You can always find something to complain about but the overall trailer was mighty impressive and I didn't think it would be this close. I heard it's coming out in 08?

This game looks to be really amazing. The animation, the lighting, the destructible environments, the effects, the art.... as the experts said, its really the whole package. For a project that still has quite a ways to go, it definitely impresses, and is right now probably the best looking console FPS shown.

For all thats worth, hopefully, Sony won't allow this game to get 'overhyped' as with what happened to the first Killzone. They need to make sure that the game is as good as it seems to the public right now. That means nailing down the LOD, the framerate, and squashing most, if not all the bugs.

Agreed.

Sony did the right thing (hype masters strike again) by leaking the underwhelming image yesterday and following up with a stellar looking video.

My hats off to GG and Sony. They have done a great job to this point. If they aim for 2008, hopefully they can release a true system seller title for ps3.

I was surprisingly pleased by the demo - and I'm not easily engaged! ;)

Big fan of the lightning for whatever reason, I just really liked it. (yes, lightning - although I liked the lighting too!)

It's interesting that the actual gameplay shots have a tendency to look better than the cut-scene grabs..

I can't wait til I get home so i can download the HD version (this internet at work stinks!!)

Garsh it stinks not being able to see a vid now, but the gifs and pics are impressive. The gif with a feller jumping over a railing and his shadow matching him looks great. As for the character (facial) models - Guerilla has impressed me. Although folks will forever mention the CG, I'll just say that they come awfully close to it.

PS. Doesn't the guy in the bottom pick look like DeNiro in Taxi Driver?

Are there any videos of the actual game-play demoed by the Sony/Guerilla rep that the previews talk about ? So far it seems like only the gametrailer with real-time elements has been released.
