First Killzone screenshot/details? So says USAToday..

Rage has pretty much the same post processing effects. Call of Duty 4 too. Assassin's Creed? Source engine and Day of Defeat?

Since they store a lot of base infomation in their Gbuffer ,all thier postprocessing has access to much more possibilities than every example you brought.
Every effect can use depth for example.
i did not see many games with a velocity buffer either.
 
AFAIK Rage had depth-dependent color correction, and COD4 sure looks that way too. I don't think it takes that much magic to access a depth buffer on a console...
 
COD4 doesn't ,IMO.
RAGE, i don't know (i know at least 3 engines called RAGE ,btw).
The point stands that (very) few engines have all these buffers at disposal , by design.Most don't use depth,most do simple 2d postprocessing.Velocity buffer is rare ,too.
 
Well, seeing as it's from OPM UK hopefully it will include us Europeans rather than being American only like Warhawk.

haha, thats cool. first evidence of a different weather effect confirmed? lol. a blizzard level will sure be welcoming to me. btw, the tree behind him was awsomely rendered too!
