One of the shortest demos. After playing, its certainly not the shooter to end all shooters, but it looks like it could be fun overall.

Does anyone know how big the demo is (MB)? and what about the difference between running it at 720p and 1080i/p?
Part one of the question: about 1200 MB

Part two of the question: Not sure, not at home. I can test it later.

I don't think any single game can live up to that name.

I noticed that you can't carry 2 rifles? I tried to swap the pistol with the Hellghast rifle and keep the standard rifle but instead it kept the pistol and swapped the rifles? Did I do something wrong?

No, the GT review said you can only exchange your rifle, always keeping the pistol as your backup. Seems like a strange limitation to me.

The movements were fine for me, but I did find the default button layout a bit awkward. I changed it to alternative 2, this put the zoom on L1 like FPS's

Rico's voice is really IMO, I hope it's not like that in the final game.

Acutally it makes sense to me. It seemed that more often than not Gureilla went for the "realism".
Realistically people don't put a rifle or a RPG launcher in their pistol pocket.
nor do you see anyone in the millitary carrying a M16 and a shotgun or sniper rifle running around.
Personally I like this choice of game design.

Nice demo, played it twice and it played very different the second time. I switched to 'Alternate 2', which is much more natural. The graphics and sounds are very good. The sense of battle is very well done, I can't wait until the full game.

The frame rate never dipped for me, the only stutters are when it says "Loading.." which is a HD streaming thing between fights.

I played the demo twice, with alternate 2, hold to zoom and without tips/hints/HUD/minimap.
It actually looks like a film one some occasions. Mind blowing game.

Good but short demo. Controls definitely take some getting used to, it feels very different than most shooters. Can't say I like the controls, but I thought it was very fun to play. I thought the cover system is very good. I also set the controls to alternate 2.
I thought the visuals were very good, and the framerate never noticeably dipped on me either. The WOW factor was probably taken away from the fact that I've seen this level so many times. Most impressive things to me, were the animations, lighting, and particle effects.

I played the demo about 7-8 times and the more I play it, the better it gets for me. At first the controls does feel sluggish, but it gets better over time as you adapt. Having control configurations is important though. I like playing it with no HUDs and crosshair.

The real complaint would be that it's SOOOO short. A lot of people that's going to play the demo will probably remain undecided, as the short demo doesn't give me the impression that it's instant buy for everyone. But since a lot of reviews have said it's really good, I buy the game base on that. ;)

I had a good chuckle with the demo which is a first for an FPS game for me as I cannot stand them. One of the Helgasts was hiding behind cover so I tossed a grenade his way he jump up, let out a little "argh" and legged it.

I think it's these little things that will make Killzone enjoyable to me (and the fact it seems fairly easy on "normal")

The GT review also said you'll need certain types of weapons for certain situations. So if your not carrying it, you'll need to go look for it while being fired upon.

You might not carry all those weapons in real life, but you probably won't need to. If a bridge needs to be blown up by a rocketlauncher, you let the guy carrying the rocketlauncher do that, while you provide him with cover fire. There is no need for you to become a jack of all trades.
A few exceptions on realism is normal for a game.

Anyway, I'll wait and see how the final game turns out.

I blew up the bridge by shooting at the explosive barrels next to the turrets on the right. I hope that there is an alternate method to completing such objectives instead of having to hunt for the right gun, if i'm only allowed to carry one primary weapon.

Those who played the MP, this restrictions doesn't carry over, right?

Anyone else feel like the enemy AI is going to be the real star of KZ2?

I played the demo a third time, experimented with the AI some more, and I'm still impressed with how well the HGHs can set up on you, they're just so aggressive and "smart" about outflanking you in that warehouse. It's just really solid squad dynamics, plus it all plays out differently each time.
I feel comfortable in saying that the AI is probably at or near Halo levels, even on the default dfficulty setting. I wish I could up the difficulty level, so I could see what the AI is capable of when it has the upper hand.

Not long enough. Only 2-2.5 fighting areas. But you get to play with Helghast people.

I  to see the top of their bald heads scurrying around trying to flank me. You can't always see them, but it's very tempting to hop over and knock them senseless. It's like wabbits or something.

I blew up the bridge the same way (a couple of times). Also, I hope the weapon restrictions DO carry over to the MP. It's STILL suppose to be realistic, right?

Realistically, I'd say you should be able to carry 2 rifles and a sidearm. Of course switching between rifles could take a little longer than you'd like.
