It has sound in the second half, and I have watched the second half only, Its rather SWEET, SLICK and Pretty much everything else too :p !
 
Europeans now have a chance to get in the Killzone 2 beta. Just download the new Killzone 2 multyplayer theme before 23 Oct. If your in they'll send you a beta key through e-mail.
 
I downloaded the theme, but dunno if it works for getting the beta :rolleyes: .

BTW, this new video is the best of the lot, watch in high quality guys :D !

So the smoke grenade is the spawn point ? The game looks engaging and intense.

I am amazed by the player's ability to use sniper for close quarter fighting. It's like using a fork to drink soup for me.
 
Yap, it was strange at first but I got used to it rather quickly (It's a beta afterall). I am still trying to find out how he could tell if another player is friend or foe.

The colour coding. ISA have ble lights on them and you can easily see a helghast due to his glowing orange goggles. A disadvantage in MP , I say.

Yes, that's one of the class's abilities IIRC. The artistry is fabulous, even the colour shifts that I don't understand! Yeah, the animation is a bit ropey, but it looks good. I didn't like the player footage though, as the player seemed a bit useless! Plus where was his secondary?

And yes, differentiating between friend and foe is tricky from this footage. Both or shades of grey, unless you spot the subtle differences. TBH I never noticed any blue on the 'good guys'.

It's a pistol (The pistol design reminded me of the Crusaders for some reason). I really like KZ2's weapon designs.

Wouldn't it be a strategic mistake to show a persistent spawn point ? The enemy could focus all their firepower on one spot and whoever spawned there would die repeatedly.

Evidently. At the end of the clip the player camps around the spawn point killing spawnees! It'd be something you'd have to use tactically to gain the advantage. Just chucking one down willy-nilly will probably lead to disaster.

Does anyone know if there's a limit to how many people can be a class or not? Could you have a team of all officers with spawn points, and liberally spread them around to get some tactical trickering going on?
