just soo beautiful, the lighting, particle, shadows and textures come together so well in this game. definetly one of a kind wowness.

Again, these are obviously fotographs of a TV screen, all the colors are totally false compared to what we've seen in direct feed media. The game's still good looking and all, but don't expect to see this.

Are they changing the artwork/rendering to be more cell-shaded like?

I don't get that from the screenshots.

:)shock: I want to drive this !)

According to deepbrown, the set pieces are destructible too. I'd like to see how extensive the destructibility is. The beta testers also hinted that there are more to the game than just sophisticated visuals. Too bad they can't say much.

Who the hell is the hack doing the propaganda speech in that video?! How awful, it sounds like an VA trying very hard to imitate Brian Cox and doing a terrible job of it. My god, my ears. Other than that, looks good.

If they need a better voice actor and someone from Killzone team is listening to this thread, I'll do it for free. ;)

Is he the original voice for the Helghan leader in KZ 1 ?

I dunno, that kind of had an artsy, almost cell shadish, sort of look at first glance to me. GeoW2 seems to have some scenes that seem less gritty and lean in this direction as well. :shrugs:

That's just one shot though (off camera too). Do the video or other screenshots remind you of cel-shading ?

then every game would have a cellshaded style since you can always find one particular pic for that liking. im seriously astounded by people's comments lately, wat's next, killzone water paint?

Probably won't look like that when you're actually looking at it on a TV. Getting it displayed on a screen, photographing it, then displaying it again on a screen pretty much messes it up.

Personally, Killzone 2 scenery reminds me of Gauguin's landscapes, while the characters seem more reminiscent of Signac. :p

I love the audio coming over the PA in that video patsu posted (I might be wrong but it didn't seem to be affected at all by proximity?).

I never played much of the first and still haven't got round to starting Liberation. But I think there's a lot of potential to develop the story-line. Here's to hoping.

The VA in your youtube video? It sure isnt, Scolar Visari was voiced by Brian Cox and he's back for Killzone 2. (You can hear him during the E3 multiplayer trailer)

The low rent mimicry we are hearing from that hack in your MP video is just awful and about 10x worse than Brian Cox. Practically the only thing the first Killzone did well was voice acting..(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cs9HfouF6GM&feature=related),so I sincerely hope the VA in the MP portion of the game isnt representative of what we get in single player mode or it will be a massive downgrade from the first Killzone.

 It might be his lieutenant or shadow then (or may be Scholar Visari caught a flu). I hope someone in the EU beta share the same intense feeling as you. Otherwise, this is it ! :p

Perhaps this will give you more reason to storm Helghast.
