Still not anything like the target render.
It's obvious that these images are not rendered in realtime
No, in game renderer with tons of AAWell that sucks. You think offline render with no AA??

http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/halo3/news.html?sid=6149725The Bungie representatives made it clear to us that the trailer was running in real-time on the Xbox 360. The trailer is set in the African desert, and it was taken from roughly a third of the way through the game.
...
he gave us a fly through of the locations in the trailer. The crater seen in the trailer is three miles across, and it's all rendered in real geometry.
...
The demo shifted away from the crater to the part of the level you see the Master Chief walking in from. He was controllable, which means that the trailer indicates just how good the game will look. Lehto was able to zoom in on the Master Chief with the camera, and you could see the many different ways light reflected objects onto him. For example, you could see light reflect off the ground and onto his armor.

Yet they were able to control the character, and camera movement in realtime?
No offense but you need to calm down, relax, think twice and then reply before writing something that is not relevant to what I write, you did exactly the same in this very thread the other day.nAo, you really need to start doing your research before making claims like this, because you're just plain wrong.
I didn't say their trailer was not realtime, I said that those 2 images are not realtime.
Do you see the difference?
No one is coming hard on them, it's just that someone is a bit too sensitive to any comment about Bungie.I don't think we need come down too hard on them for that.

Coming from the trailer does not mean renderered in realtime. Edges and textures are basicly perfect, that means that image has being rendered with a huge number of samples per pixel, just not pratical for realtime rendering with current hw.The first image is from the trailer, do you not realize that?

No, I was talking about the images you posted above my comment (http://forum.beyond3d.com/showpost.php?p=977152&postcount=163)Check out my edit, I thought you were referring to the 'two images' I had posted above you, not the two images from the previous page.
I have no problem believing that their trailer was realtime, but that image is not, it really does not take a rocket scientist to know that. Now if you want to open your eyes and to start to think with your own head..check that image again and come back to me to explain how it can be possibly rendered in realtime. One of the images I posted was confirmed as being realtime, and I was responding to someone claiming the E3 demo was a target render, when you stepped in.

Just so we're clear, you're saying this is not realtime?
