Formula 1 - 2011 Season

Also, Ferrari has done what they did in last year winter testing: racking up the kilometres. They have done the most laps by quite a margin. Here's the data and a graph.

Things are fucked in Bahrain now. The authorities are heavy-handedly repressing protesters and people are dying.

There needs to be more pressure on Bahrain's rulers so they see that what they are doing is wrong. When you put your army's tanks against your own people, you have a problem.

What's up with Lotus, they stopped testing alltogether?
Heikki Kovalainen Lotus-Renault 1:20.649 15 Laps
Jarno Trulli Lotus-Renault 1:31.477 38 Laps
Jarno Trulli Lotus-Renault 1m24.458s + 3.749s 53
Jarno Trulli Lotus-Renault 1m23.216s + 2.864s 40
Heikki Kovalainen Lotus-Renault 1m21.711s + 1.350s 61
Heikki Kovalainen Lotus-Renault 1m30.065s + 5.691s 54

They have had issues. It doesn't look good, but the graph is misleading. HRT have not yet unveiled their new car. They have only run the old car. Lotus as least have tested new machinery. Virgin looks promising, though. They did 116 laps today, most laps of all tied with Toro Rosso.

Ferrari continues their impressive reliability in testing. 23% more than the best of the others.

Ferrari had some problems today so the % of more laps fell to just over 18%. Mercedes did the most laps today, followed by Sauber, Williams and Red Bull, all over 100 laps with Mercedes on 131.

HRT is still testing their old car, I guess they are getting tyre info, but I fear for their reliability when the new car comes.

Virgin is looking the best of the new teams reliability wise, but Lotus gets faster times at the end of the day.

I like this graph, mileage is very important in testing!

McLaren so far is struggling a bit with reliability, but the worse is probably Williams. Luckily for them this is testing and before first race they might turn their cars to rock solid performers.

Also Button said that so far Ferrari looks very good closely followed by Red Bull, but what he knows ;)

Here's the graph and data after day 3 of Barcelona test

Webber did an impressive 139 laps today, but Ferrari still has almost 14% more laps.

McLaren are still having issues.

F1 is a luxury and not important in the grand scheme of things.

Nevertheless, the third winter test ended today at Barcelona

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/89599

Ferrari is up to over 18% more laps that the second best, RBR. Massa was also fastest today with the fastest time of the entire test.

Trulli crashed his Lotus after 18 laps, there was a problem with the car and no spare part(s).

Some rumors are saying that Red Bull has been driving so far pretty much only with full tanks, meaning they would be leaps and bounds faster than anyone else
