These had me in tears.
hahaahha, not even Mister Bean could surpass that! I cried. I admit. -with laughter-These had me in tears.
Anyone else using the companion app? It connects directly to your console so you have a live map on your phone/tablet that you're able to interact with real time. So you can see where you're travelling and change the destination as you're playing, or simply looking for other quests/locations without interrupting your gameplay.
Yep I play the same way. It's handy to press down arrow to quickly check surroundings and paths etc but I really love playing HUD-less in this game.Been meaning to try it. I play with the radar turned off, which I highly recommend because the full hud becomes hiddin, which is really great for the visuals.
Wow, you can actually shop the catalog online and make purchases for in-game. Awesome
You don't even need the app for the online catalog. I'm just logged into my social club profile on my browser and can go shopping. The app actually just goes to the same web location for the catalog. The map is app only though.Cool, I thought it was just a map. Downloading the app now..
That's unfortunate because the app comes with considerably more detailed instructions on the game's mechanics that the game itself skimps on and skips entirely.Unfortunately I'm Android poor since none of my devices are compatible. I use RDR2Map.com for my map though. Love that catalog too
wow, RDR2 is much superior. The animations, the textures, the interaction with the environment -when he jumps into the mud or the horse cart leaves a trail behind with the cart's wheels, or when he swims downstream..., etc etc-, how fire affects vegetation and so on. Can't wait to try RDR2 on PC.
More than anything, this video shows how insane GTAV still is and this game was released 5 years ago and developed for PS3/X360.
where RDR2 is vastly superior is the performance/optimisation. A 1070 can't run GTA V at 4k with decent framerates, and the 1080 struggles. While RDR2 is running on consoles.More than anything, this video shows how insane GTAV still is and this game was released 5 years ago and developed for PS3/X360.

What exactly are you comparing to Alien: Isolation / Ryse? Two games that don't even have 5% of the scale, content, interactivity, etc of GTA V.I played it several hundreds of hours on the PC and it mostly appeared sterile to me. Only in the night it looked interesting with the high visibility and the moving lights. Today it seems very old-fashioned in many areas. Different from other old games such as Ryse or Alien: Isolation.
If the settings are well chosen, even a GTX 970 can achieve a resolution of UHD with 30fps easily. A GTX 1080 should be able to handle UHD with 60fps without any problems. There are some settings that greatly reduce the frame rate but I wouldn't take that as a comparison.
