Probably from BG. Also, Iherre mentioned the other day about notion of consoles hitting 2.5TF easily with resounding "no" and continuing that FLOPS dont tell the whole story. I think now that bkilian said GPU in dev kit wasn't what we thought it was, its pretty clear that Durango GPU is not going to turn heads.

What about the "almost confirmed" ValveBox?

Is this a "next generation console"?

"bkilian said GPU in dev kit wasn't what we thought it was"
You know,in B3D,there is many predicting of Durango dev kit, from HD66xx~HD79xx.
I seriously not sure why automatically think the low end.

He's not talking about it's 2.5TF or not

BG is a confirmed non insider, and lherre saying that doesn't confirm any sort of low end GPU. On the other hand, Aegis has implied that we will get something mid to high end next year based on who he's talked to in the industry. And we have developers words themselves like Epic and Crytek who have hinted about the power.

You know Crytek at least would have made a stink if it wasn't in the range they were aiming for.

I am saying that its too early to call anything until we get concrete info.

Come on guys, this isn't GAF(although i'm not a member there), we should be much more level headed than to draw outrageous conclusions about anything.

So he's just saying that the GPU's could theoretically be 2.5TF, but in the real word those numbers wouldn't actually be achievable?

But the power supply is the real problem.

    Sure.

"When iSuppli tore down an Xbox 360 around this time last year, the firm estimated that Microsoft was losing $126 on each 360 sold. Microsoft is whistling a much happier tune now. Revised component costs for the Xbox 360 indicate that costs have dropped to the point where each $399 Xbox 360 sold costs $323.30 to make—leaving Microsoft $75.70 in the black on each system, before marketing and other costs are figured into the equation."

    Sorry, can't answer that.
Awesome! :) I'm an avid cyclist myself, but I'm probably not going to buy a new bike this year. I like the look of the new bikes and all, but with the new bike not being able to use my current bike's accessories, I'll stick with the current one until it fails... (Also, I don't know anything about the other guy's new bike, so I couldn't give you a recommendation on what to buy)

Okay, can you give us a hint. Are most people going to be disappointed or happy about the final kit TF answer? You know what everyone wants and doesn't want.

This should allow you to answer without breaking NDA.

Yes, I saw that, but where did he make a statement that he sourced from his purported sources in MS.

All I can see in his post history is the AMD China leaks.
