It doesn't ship until tomorrow and web sites aren't allowed to post reviews until it is on store shelves.

The first part of your post is an opinion, I can't discuss that.Bill said:X360 is getting more underwhelming..just as the excitement of launch nears...
The reviews are disappointing me.
It seems like everything around the machine is great, the console design, Live, Xbox arcade, controller, all great. It just lacks shader power due to EDRAM. Therefore the graphics are not good enough for "next gen". The PGR 3 review says at 480P it looks more like an Xbox game! Sad that most of the power got soaked up just by increasing the res.
MS is about to find out what kind of doom that means..
Maybe next gen they wont disrespect the hardware side of things.
The only real upgrades you'll see in the game at all, content or graphics-wise, are better textures, a subtle bit of normal mapping and a tad bit better lighting effects
I don't believe it , i've played the full version of the game , we have it in our kiosk . My friend is at 19 hours nad counting for the game .blakjedi said:Dont beleive it. The visuals in Kameo are phenomenal and it has technique on par Zelda WindWaker.

I just don't get how in one game they mention the gameplay is exactly the same as last gen versions of the game and the graphics are only slightly improved and then go ahead and knock another game like pgr3 for being to much pgr2.5
The reviews simply don't make sense

Master-Mold said:Sounds like Gamespot is going to score PGR3 very well.
Today they put up a new hands-on and it was very very complimentary.
I am guessing 9.1 from gamespot.
Gamespot said:To be sure, Gotham TV, as the Bizarre team has dubbed it, plays a big role in the 360 version of the game--it gives you a chance to not only view your saved replays, but also watch some of the best racers in the world show their stuff on PGR 3's cosmopolitan lineup of courses.
There are so many other things to talk about in PGR 3--the extensive online play, the course editor, and much more. Rest assured, we'll be taking a look at all of these features in preparation for our upcoming review.
expletive said:Finally someone getting it right and not rushing out a review just for the sake of it! I think the other sites not including online in their reviews is a definite strike against them. Have i mentioned that yet?
They've always given TH series high scores (mostly 9 and above), PGR series has also scored high (8.8 PGR and 9.5 PGR2), so actually they're just being very consistent.jvd said:wtf how did tony hawk get a 8.3 on ign and kameo only a 8.4
Wtf
So they are fine with this being just a port with better textures but then they attack pgr3 for being to much pgr2.5 whlie the amount of gameplay changes in pgr3 are far greater than the few graphical updates seen in american waste land ?
Wow that is just poor
IMO it's fair enough to say, especialy in a review, the length of the game as it is when you've completed the main quest, with the average amount needed to upgrade your stats.scooby_dooby said:It's strange that most reviews are knocking kameo for being short, but I haven;t seen one that said they had actually upgraded every monster and their full set of moves.
I know it's rushed, 1 or 2 consoles to review 18 games with, but it's wierd to knock a game for length when you can't even give an accurate number for the total length of the game w/ sidequests.
