Nope...just curious as to why someone who has accused others of being "fans" of certain products is so open about being a fan of Sony Products. ;)

I've never said it's bad to like (i.e. be a fan) of a certain product. It's when people take that feeling and diss everything that the competition does out of spite. I give credit to MS and Nintendo when something they do is good. And I've critized Sony a few things too.

And I'm a fan a Playstation products not all Sony products. Toshiba is my current TV of choice and Kodak is my current digital camera of choice.

Not on a fan forum, no.

And what does that even mean? Obviously this is not a fan forum, so are you accusing me of being a fan boy? I can't seem to understand why I have to hate or not want something to success after I spend my hard earned money on it.

I like the way you guys are trying to bring down my crediablity though. Good move, but I don't really care.

Aw, mckmas, you know I love you. I was only pointing out that blatant cheerleading of a product is probably better served on a fan forum, not a technical forum. But I understand that having discussions without emotion is probably fairly boring. ;)

It takes a fan to have enthusiasm for a product. Nobody talks about the technical merits of the next gen toaster unless it can surf the web. It also takes an antagonist or devil's advocate to keep a debate live, otherwise its everyone blowing sunshine up each other's arse.

If you take comments another way, it's good in GENERAL, as the success of all the top consoles there (which all received a boost more than I figured) points also toward the health and success of the console market in general. Which IS good for ALL of us. ;)
