deepbrown, I thought the Steel Box edition in overseas markets are full retail game ? Are they really review copies ?
Look at the last picture in this series:
You do know you won't be able to play online don't you?
Regional servers and 'stuff' I presume. This is the bane of no region lock on game discs, but on services.
KillZone 2 is AWESOME. Currently one of the if not the best looking game ever. Definitly surprass the 2005 E3 trailer

No no no and again no. Those pics were selectively picked and I also suspect some touch up work. I have the demo and although it looks godly it doesnt look nowhere as good as the CGI
Those screens are not touch up or selectively pick. They're 100% realtime:smile:. I already play the demo and it surpass the E3 demo in many ways. The lighting are better, the textures look sharper/better quality and colors are better too etc...
Can't wait to see how KZ3 will look
No, review copies will not have access to online when the game launches. The retail promo copies will though, such as mine.

Are you sure promo copies will work online?
I can't believe you're still claiming this after all this tme. The E305 demo is technically far superior to the finished product. You might think it looks better and thats great, but technically it isn't even in the same ballpark.
A further difficulty level is unlocked once you complete the game on the hardest one available from the start.
All I'm saying is, you told someone to play Halo 3 on a harder difficulty level before judging the AI, yet you're doing the opposite regarding Killzone 2. Surely the same argument should apply to both before any comparisons can be made?
EDIT: Just to be clear, I'm not saying anything about Halo 3 and Killzone 2 AI or how they compare, just that you can't use one argument in favour of one yet claim it doesn't apply to the other.
I think that whole discussion started because someone (deepbrown?) mentioned that this game has better AI than (H3 Far cry etc)
that seemed like a "can of worms" statement to begin with.
I'm in the military, rarely does AI impress me because it all just seems like smoke and mirrors. Usually these things happen by chance and aren't that impressive. Halo 3, Uncharted, and KZ2 are the only titles that I have been impressed by, as far as AI is concerned.
Actually, it began when Vanquish came in this thread for the umpteenth time to tell us how exaggerated (insert topic here) is. He compared the KZ2 AI to H3, Far Cry, Fear, etc, and said it wasn't impressive, rather, we were all "gushing for no reason".
I've played all of those games, and the AI is nowhere near as good as Killzone 2. It really is uncanny what they do. Far Cry 2's can be good, but often times they are dumb.
The Covenant and HGHs fight so differently though.I think that whole discussion started because someone (deepbrown?) mentioned that this game has better AI than (H3 Far cry etc)
