Formula 1 - 2012 Season

Alonso did mention perhaps they could have gotten up to 4th maximum in his interview but overall wasn't too disappointed.

As to Kimi love... it's just that he is sooooooooo charming.

Ha! Alonso tried squeezing Kimi out of track and got himself out in first corner! Justice served, say bye bye to the lead!

You are so evil, you even don't know what exactly you are talking about. :devilish:
So, you think that the revenge should be so cruel, how can you equalise things so naively?

In any case, in my eyes from this moment on Kimi is nothing more than an ordinary idiot. Last races it was another such to try to kill Fernando, this weekend it is this to ruin everything.

At least, Felipe did somehow manage to soften the damages with this second place.

But one thing is almost clear- with that move to Mercedes, Hamilton most probably lost any chances for the title this year. And he had a lot prior to the move,

For crying out loud, are you seriously suggesting that Kimi should have just ran off the track and yielded, or lift his pedal and risk someone smashing his rear just because Alonso wanted to go from where he wanted?

Alonso got what he deserved for pushing someone else off the track and smashing into him (even if not purposely, he was the one that initiated it all)

Nothing worth penalties for him though, as it was racing incident, but he can't blame anyone else but himself, several, non-finnish commentators including ex-f1 drivers agree on this too :D

Maybe you'd prefer that everyone else just start by running off the track and stay there so Fernando can do what he wants where he wants, and win?

Yup, the one that is behind is always responsible to protect the other which is in front. The one behind is always guilty and should protect the other. Read the laws for driving and you will see. ;)

And I don't care what the other drivers and commentators say. I doubt they are smart enough to judge it properly.

Says the crazy loon who thinks that we never landed on the moon and that the WTC towers were taken down by TNT...

That doesn't prove anything about today and has no relation to this particular case. :devilish:

And thank you for the definition. Highly appreciated. What a******s everywhere.

Alonso DID move aggressively to the right to keep in front of Kimi - Kimi then had no track left.
It was a racing incident.

As to the championship - it is still pretty much a race between Vettel and Alonso but I have a feeling there are more upsets to come in the final few races.

Can't see past Vettel now. Interesting to see that McLaren didn't try to get Hamilton past Button as well...I wonder if that would have been the case had it not been for other events this week.

I am not so sure. I guess it was just a normal race accident. In this sense, no ones fault in my opinion. Shit happens...but Grosjean should leave F1, he is fast and all, but not capable of non crashing!

Well, after this race...I guess the Championship has restarted.

Left? I've only seen the replay from the view in Alonso's car and he seemed to have the track position on Raikonnen. Can't see much he did wrong but I'd have to see a better view to be sure.

That Grosjean incident was bizarre. He said he was being careful - trying not to hit anyone - yet he had loads of space to brake into and just left it too late, again. God knows how many points he's thrown away this year.

No he didn't, otherwise their wheels hadn't collided (which pushed Kimi out of track), nor would he had driven straight into Kimi's front wing afterwards.

The funnies part is that just few weeks ago in Monza Alonso was talking much (after Vettel incident) how drivers have to leave room for everyone else on the track too. Now that he was the one not leaving space, he blames Kimi for it

Mark Webber's comment was the funniest - 1 start for Grosjean and another for everyone else.

Poor Grosjean was pretty shook up himself, I think he has realised this kind of performance may mean he is out of F1 next year.

Sorry meant left. Alonso started on the right went over to fend off Kimi, thought he had track position but looks like he was crowding and Kimi who then had no track left so they collided albeit just a touch, which was enough to take a piece off Kimi's front wing and puncture Alonso's left rear tyre.

Problem is: he is really fast and all, good racer it seems.

but I honestly think that he has not the coordination, the reaction and the brains to handle such close situations, thus not suitable for F1 it seems. Or it is a mental problem, and he just needs a good mental couch.

Kind of the same as Montoya back than, who was super fast, but not smart enough to finish a race.

But then, when Hamilton started his career, he was crazy as well. Fast, but crazy. I guess he took a good (very good) mental coach and really improved his capabilities...yeah, I know he even won the championship after stabilizing himself.

Perez too did some nasty mistakes today. Kobayashi was cool as ice imo.

Performance of Massa was sick, wonder what Alonso could have achieved!

I wonder if the Red Bulls have sorted their things out now and the car stays competitive?
