Formula 1 - 2012 Season

I live in Japan and I can't tell if the air quality here is any worse than back in Holland. And in Holland I lived in a small town while I live in a big city now.

Yeah, except high levels of radiation, earthquakes every now and then, and of course not so clean air which can be easily seen if you watch the Suzuka Grand Prix.

I really hope this one doesn't go to Ferrari. He is the last person who ever should go there. :devilish: Never.

1. Wtf do earthquakes have to do with air quality?
2. If Fukushima was really still releasing dangerous amounts of radiation we would have known by know as a city with 13million or so people is rather close by.
3. Having actually been to Suzuka I can tell you I didnt notice anything wrong.

But as I highly doubt you ever even left your parents house I will leave it as this and ignore your blabbering.

The speculation is that Massa stays there next season and Vettel joins Alonso for 2014.

Why would they want to get rid of Alonso?

To quote Montezemolo
I've always said that I don't want two roosters in the hen-house. I don't like that and it creates instability in the team

On the race, it was ruined by the yellow flags in the DRS zone because of Rosberg's early retirement. That just let the gaps open up between all the cars.

I have serious doubts that Vettel will join Ferrari so long as he has the best car every year at Red Bull, which he has.

To quote Montezemolo

Alonso is a better driver than Vettel, and he has a serious contract till end of 2016.
And because of this, the chances Vettel goes to Ferrari in the distant future are relatively low. Alonso can cope very well with a slow car, something which is not Vettel's best quality.
Vettel is strong when you give him Pole position and he has no competition through whole races. But I think everyone is strong then. Vettel is not different than Perez or Maldonado, or Kobayashi... or Rosberg for that matter.

Of course, he can go there but I think only if he replaces Felipe as the second seat.

because of Rosberg's early retirement.

And because of the carbon debris which they showed... But only few paid attention.

In your opinion he is, that doesn't make it a fact. The way Santander bought Alonso a spot at Ferrari shows how little serious contracts mean in F1.

The few pieces of carbonfiber debris could have been cleaned off quickly, but there was little point considering where they were on the track and the fact that yellow flags would have still stayed on 'till Rosbergs car was lifted off.

Sorry, to my understanding, any car which is in that position next to the walls with perhaps not more than a meter inside the track, is as dangerous as any of those walls. It is a static object playing a similar role to that of walls.

Carbon debris, on the other side, can cause severe damages, first because they are not so visible, and second, because if you touch them, you can puncture your tire which can follow in awful accident.

Yes, yet they were also so close to the right edge of the track that outside first lap, no-one would go anywhere near them, especially not when there's F1 parked on the same side of the track and yellows waving.

Also the F1 car is far more dangerous than the solid walls there, hit it and you can get anything from wheel to wing hitting you in the head for example

I sense a great bitterness in you, young padawan.

It doesn't matter that it was Kimi who had to step aside, the point was that with enough money behind you (aka from a sponsor), contracts are irrelevant.
(As curiosity, has there ever been another case where a sponsor have bought their driver a spot in one of the top teams?)

whilst I agree UT is talking out his ass, during some earthquakes u have liquefaction, which can stay around for months afterward

Well I could counter with Did a sponsor really get alonso the job. Its well known ferrari wernt happy with kimi and im quite sure they would of wanted alonso sponsors or not, plus the amount they pay him theres no way that they arnt loosing money on the deal

Funny how Ferrari themselves said different about Kimi ;)
Anyway, what are the chances of Ferrari paying Kimi years salary for doing nothing in F1 + extra for Ferrari breaching the contract + Ferrari paying Alonso - if not by sponsor paying for it to do it?

You can call it conspiracy theories and whatnot, but this is a quite good read in the end http://f1bias.com/2012/04/05/truth-about-kimi-ferrari-santander-2008/
