Formula 1 - 2012 Season

Well, he needs a real car, not that funny Lotus with Renault parts that suck, mate. Give him the second Ferrari, sit down in your chair and enjoy a real champion. :D

Or at least, change Renault as a partner, take Mercedes.
That Renault engine has won 4 championships and a heck of a lot of races.

Hamilton - 1-5%* of the blame for not just giving up when his tyres were shot.
Maldonado - 99-95%'' of the blame for out hothead-ing a hothead.

Maldonado is like a younger Hamilton without the skill.

*margin of error: -1-5%
''margin of error: 1-5%

Edit: maybe he is a younger Montoya, same aggression, less brains.

I think that's very, very harsh. Maldonado is clearly very quick. He just needs to sort out this red mist he seems to get every now and again. Given his history (see Monaco 2005) I do wonder whether he'll ever change though, and that may be his downfall.

It is very harsh, but remember what he did at Spa last year.

He was great in Barcelona, but he's been crazy more times in F1 than he's been great. That is not the case with Hamilton.

It's not like Hamilton didn't have more than his fair share of "hot headed manouvers", heck, they changed the whole reprimand system because of him, as the old system really didn't give you any punishments no matter how many reprimands you got

Never did Hamilton chop a driver off after the session was over.

 They don't win because of the engine, actually what that engine does is to close the gap with the others.
To compare Renault with Ferrari and Mercedes is insane.
One-time wonders...

I think you are mixing Renault car company with Renault F1 engine supplier.

They were first with Turbos in F1 and they have very solid engine in current 2.4l V8 formula.
It's a bit weaker on top power than Merc or Ferrari but it is more drivable according to many drivers.
Besides it was best engine for blown diffusers thanks to way it was build.
Renault still has advantage in fuel consumption compared to competition, not a small thing in weight sensitive competition.

Regarding Kimi, he is getting better and has pretty good chance of a win this year.

EDIT: Didn't notice Bludd answered that on following page :p

During the race Maldanado almost pushed two other racers, whilst defending, off the track at this exact same corner.

Now he does it to Hamilton but lacks the skill to avoid a collision.. amateur.

"Almost push" and "push" are two different things you know.

Show me the F1 driver who can steer a car to avoid collision when it's front wheels are airborne.

Hamilton didn't push him anywhere, at any time Maldonado could have yielded and he he hadn't taken the position and never was in a position to so he should have. remember nicko earlier this year ( cant remember which race) "pushing" people off the track on the straight, nothing came of that.

compare what Micheal did to rubans if you want to see the difference.

Your allowed one defensive move,

Hamilton was in front
Hamilton took a line through the corner and didn't really deviate
Maldonado went off the track ( that was his own choice) and then rejoined in an unsafe manner.

this racing not happy fluffy bunny rabbits. There racing for position and in that regard Hamilton did nothing wrong.

kaotik, the only reason his front wheels where airborne was from his own choice. When everyone in the whole entire world including the stewards disagrees with you, how about accepting your wrong ;) .
