Were the platform splits released elsewhere? I don't see them in the press release.

Regards,
SB

Only platform splits I saw for EldenRing was for the first few days only, then saw another set of splits for Europe only. I haven't seen comprehensive splits.

Europe Splits were from https://www.gamesindustry.biz/artic...ip-since-the-division-european-monthly-charts

The FromSoftware game sold best on PC, representing 44% of total sales. Then it's PS5 with 27%, then Xbox (16%) and finally PS4 (13%).

Series Consoles stocks issues are just about done. We've been watching walmart and big box stores for the last week on online ordering and they've managed to keep them stocked while going out and coming back.
We are now seeing it on shelves properly.
Xbox Series X Is in Stock at Amazon for Prime Members - IGN

Xbox Series X priority access for Prime members ends today (3/31/22). That's not the same as being exclusive to Prime members, so seeing as there is still stock that means anyone can currently get one at Amazon.

While, I'm inclined to think that supply and demand might now be "normal", we'll have to see in the coming days whether this was just a particularly large shipment or if demand is actually now roughly equivalent to supply.

PS5's on the other hand are still over 1k USD at Amazon US.

Before anyone tries to read too much into that, there's no other information that would let us know supply levels (IE - is MS just supplying a lot more consoles?) versus demand levels (IE - is PS5 just that much more in demand?). I'm personally inclined to think it's a combination of those 2. Larger supply of XBS-X but also much greater demand for PS5.

SB

I mean, you can also go direct into Targets/Walmarts/Sams Clubs etc and pick them up off the shelves. The article here just lists Amazon Prime, but availability appears to be much larger than that.

It's very difficult to make any calls on what 'demand' using 'supply' as the measure. The only metric that matters is units sold and retailer turn over period (when they order their next shipment) - that's about the only way to determine demand, even then it's not really the best way.

I'ts been a little over 2 weeks now that Walmart online have been bouncing in and out of stock, where it's never been out of stock for more than an hour or two.

Target has been more regional, same with GameStop. Both were usually only available via AllAccess bundles earlier in the month. Target has switched over to having them available (on and off) without AllAccess. GameStop has a bundle with a $100 GiftCard and $45 GamePass 3 month for a few days now.

I forgot to mention that it's been available via Bundle configurations on Microsoft’s own store as well.

I think Series X was recently in stock on Amazon USA for some hours as well. People said even PS5 DE was in stock for 15 minutes which is a lot for PS5.

Some are speculating Series X could sell as many as 500,000 in March NPD due to a large supply.

On Stock X Series X price has reached a major low of $524 reflecting this availability.

Amazon still has Series X in stock for me right now. It has been many hours. I think you may have to be a prime member. It has reached #1 in Amazon video game bestsellers chart.

When I checked Amazon US last night, the Series X was already rated #1 Best Seller.

That's the price for buyers (before StockX adds their fees), while the price for sellers is $501.

What's also funny is the price on StockX for Series S is $275 to buy and the price for sellers is $250.

Yeah I'm not sure whats up with that, maybe people finding them on trucks

Or realistically it could be any combination of things, people unloading old stock for as much as they can get to minimize losses, few to none actually being sold for those prices, etc.

Series X STILL in stock on Amazon for me.

Sales from the UK.

Xbox Series consoles were the #1 selling platform in the UK for the month of March ahead of Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 This follows strong retail signs of big Xbox Series X shipments in the US for the month as well.

It's going to be the trend till at least holiday. MS is popular in less markets so focusing on the popular markets and having the ability to build more consoles due to the series s is going to help them a lot this generation

This can only be Series S. Series X remains scarce like PS5.

maybe not, Here in spain last week. series S was 700 series X was 650. This is with X still scarce whilst S has been abundant for months (currently 10 euro discount)
They were UK figures.

Yes I know I read "Xbox Series consoles were the #1 selling platform in the UK"
But Im saying here in spain, where also the series X is also scarce & series S abundant like the UK, the breakdown between the two is pretty even, so its not guaranteed that the S is greatly outselling the X.
Also keep in mind the average british person is richer than the average spainard
