What should Nintendo do to become N°1 again?

You could probably play it like that, but it would be "different" to say the least. Actually, I'd say that you might have to use an Xbox controller to play it and even then it wouldn't feel right. Too many people mistake MP to be that type of game.

i dont think i saw anyone say this. but nintendo could buy sony. 
its a longshot, but currently sonys market cap is about 30 billion dollars. Which if im not mistaken is how much money it would take to buy the company. I heard reports that nintendo has some cash reserves in excess of 1-2 billion dollars. Nice down payment. Hey its probably never going to happen, but it would certainly get them to the #1 spot.

Nintendo needs to switch names with Sony.
Get games that are Japanese or American style in graphics, rather than creating the happy go lucky nintendo games that have their own style.(as in, go anime or gta)
Make their next console big in size, even if it is just an empty box.
Oh yeah, and I want nintendo to keep their stance against piracy, but not on emulation....yeah, it's basically impossible, but it'd be nice if say at the end of a gen, they'd release something to let you attach their system to a computer(not just a monitor) and offload the graphics and what not onto the pc, just keeping the system to prevent piracy and perhaps using the cpu to process what can't be emulated.(hey, that's even more impossible!...ok, just stick with using the gamecube to read the disks)

I didn't say there was any difference between 5/10 and 10/20. I said "HALF the...", I know that they both reduce to an even 1/2.
