If your a PSN+ member/customer try to upload the game save to the online storage, delete and then download again?

    Hi guys,
if you don't mind I'd like to join your B-Spec fun. I'll figure out how to get my drivers online tonight. I have 6 drivers ready but will need 4 of them for some endurance race over the weekend, so I'll tell 2 of my gentlemen to prepare.

It doesnt appear to be something that will work. Before the latest PS3 FW update we could copy the game to a USB (now we cant). People where experiencing this problem since before that, and tried copying it to a USB, delete the save file and restore it to their PS3. It didnt work

It appears to be an issue with the 1.7 update.

According to what I have read someone said that the problem appears when you try to update without having the game installed on your HD.

So what I did was treat the game step by step to see if the problem will be resolved.

I run the game without any installation and from version 1.00. It runs fine.
I then updated to v1.3. I skipped the newer downloads. The game run fine and asked me if I wanted to install the game data.

    I did exactly that.

Then updated to 1.5. Again the game run fine.

Then decided to update to version 1.7 and do the same and I got the error message again. :???:

edit: The problem seem to appear after the update for version 1.06

Ok I am back so I will start racing your drivers soon. Thank God I had an older save in a USB so I dont have to start completely from the beginning., Phew.

Too bad I lost all my money, a chunk of my driver experience points, B-Scpec levels, a driver, F1 and Golden SLS cars though :(

edit: I would appreciate it a lot if you me help get my drivers back on their feet through remote play.

Ok, so now I have my new PS3 setup in my study I can setup my wheel much quicker, and I'm back to playing this. When driving among others the online 80s seasonal events I noticed that the standard cars really look much, much better now. Any strange bugs with the windows and such are gone now, and the reflections seem to move nicer too. Maybe it's an illusion, but it really stood out to me.

Also, I've tried the academy event, pretty long track that seems to have been generated by the track editor, and is pretty good and technical. I got my time down to 1'27.x , which is 'only' about 10 seconds off pace (!) lol, but I barely learnt the track yet and haven't messed with any settings either. Very nice combo though, and it's nice to see I have at least 1 Dutch friend in my friendslist who's driven this too (8 seconds slower than me :p).

Copying the save game through the online storage space seems to work really well and is super convenient for me now. The only thing seems to be that harvesting your online B-Spec drivers can only be done from the other PS3. I'm not 100% sure yet if true, but I may have to unshare them on that one and then share them again on this one to get that to work properly again, will test that sometime.

I'll gladly accept you guys using my B-Spec bloke. Hit me up: AntShaw on PSN. :)

I got stuck in A-Spec and turned to the Seasonal Events as of late. Been rather entertaining and I find it as good incentive to buy new cars.

Finally! I have been stuck in A-spec for a while, not being able to progress because i lacked the right car, or so i thought.

Believe it or not i struggled to complete the last "like the wind" event because i couldn't find a suitable car.

Atleast i thought so, (my veyron would get whipped by the race cars on the final race track, as it has to take the corner at some 70 km\h less than the opponents - but i may have put on the wrong tyres) and i didn't try with any others, as i just looked at the hp\weight ratio of the oponents and figured if my veyron cant do it, the others cannot.

Anyways, tried again with my awesome Zonda R, and it did the job after some minor tweaking of the gear box. Then i recieved my Toyota Minolta! I have some awesome memories of that car from GT4 =)

Anyways, this allows me to take on the rest of the events (that require proper race cars) so now i am super happy.

Will start agan with remote racing on monday - so have your drivers ready.

Thanks guys, my two drivers had fun in the weekend. I took them offline for some endurance races but I replaced with them with my two star rookies. ;)

Look for the Gran Turismo Formula 1 car (it may still be available in the Online dealership?). Zonda R and Toyota Minolta are great cars, but your B-Spec drivers will be even happier with GTF1.

Thanks for the truck! I beat 1 of the lvl6 races with it, but it was too slow for the 2nd. :)

I beat that race with Ford GT LM Spec 2 after many tries, It lacks top speed but can take the corner at pretty much full speed, Did you beat the Formula championship yet, I was going to try it today, but F1 is on today so, gonna watch that instead. Can you tell me how long the whole championship takes, it's like 120 laps all up, I've got to set a side the time to do it.

Wow Ford GT LM spec 2 ? I can only imagine that must have been pretty hard.

Havent tried formula one chapmionship, havent gotten myself to buy the car yet. Dont really like the racing cars (i like super road cars), and 5million is quite a lot of cash.

Does anybody else experience bugs on the remote racing system? Some days i get this wierd bug that "allows" me to add several of my own drivers, but fails to let me invite other people (nor start the race). Furthermore, who shows up on my friendlists seems completely random. Cornsnake and Lee72 (sorry if its the wrong number), do not exist on my GT remote racing friendlists. I do exists on theirs, as they have raced my drivers.

I went in this AM to level up my lvl2 B-SPEC racer and now I can't start any races. Tells me I don't have enough drivers. For the life of me, I can't find out where to create any drivers. Can anyone provide some guidance?
