This is the guy I talked to also. Apart from some interesting off the record stuff, he told me they now have evolved the system from The Fight to a really great extent. Now they have basically modelled the full human body, and then use the Move controllers (and head-tracking) to estimate what the full body is doing. Also they have dynamic calibration, so that you no longer have to stay in one place, and no longer ever have to press the recalibrate button. They have a prototype where you can actually see the full body and how it animates based on this input, and they are hoping to have some use for it, perhaps in a sequal to the Fight, or something else.
I recorded some guys who were pretty decent boxing and the moving around is really pretty solid in Move Fitness. For me that also means I'll have a hard time playing it, just like picking up the ball will be an issue for me, as I don't think I have enough space in my living room! (same reason I can't play Kinect, basically)
It is actually funny because I've met both of these guys in this movie in person now.
