Last of Us [PS4]

The Jak and Daxter trilogy ports for PS3 and Vita was pretty crappy, so I am unsure how much ND really care about their past. But if this is an awesome port I might get it....

The PS3 port was pretty good. The Vita port not so much.
 
Jak ports were ok, but ND said the way those games were built were almost impossible to port, it even use the PS1 chip in the PS2 even though they were not suppose to. Since they are porting the engine from PS3 to PS4 it should be easier to do LOU and any uncharted games and use them to test the engine on PS4.

That's because they are Naughty, dog.
 
Good thing is Sony would have to keep the PS1 hardware in the PS2 for the entire generation or the game wouldn't work. lol
 
In the PS3 version of Jak 3, if you choose stereoscopic 3D it saved the choice and outputted 3D no matter what TV you had connected.

Usually a 3D image shown on a non-3D TV is basically like watching split screen, one side for each part. On a 3D TV, this gets put together so that you can see it properly with the glasses - the image is split and each side is shown one at a time as you would expect, creating the 3D effect. On a 2D TV it remains as two separate images on the same frame.

Dammit, I really want to play this again. That 90 minute making of video that DieH@rd posted early in the thread got me really stoked to play this again. I'm going to buy the waiting for the PS4 release though, I'm keen to see how much better this looks and plays on new hardware.

I'd love this to come out in the next few weeks to fill my gaming void between now and Watch_Dogs, although I still have Sly Cooper Thieves in Time to play on Vita :D
