Blazing fast ? I am having weird issues.
I kept it on download for 7 hours and i came back thinking it must be done now. Only to find that the download had paused at 22% as i had signed out from psn somehow !
Signed in again and it resumed. If it going to pause on its own everyime i get logged out, which keeps happening here and is randomn, I don't think my download will ever be done. Oh boy !such a huge download and I can't leave it un attended.
Oh shit, this sounds bad...I feel with you man!
It took roughly 1-1.5 h for me, no issues.
It is sooo worth it, stay tuned. After playing 5h20m, the game save tells me that I am 36% in...cool!

I just played the demo last night (the one that is available to GoW: Ascension owners) and it's scary. I can certainly relate to it not being a lot of fun (I think I prefer the Uncharted setting-style), but am perfectly fine with it being a different game with a different aim. I actually pre-ordered the game, and am looking forward to receiving it.

And the speed is fucked up all over the place, the estimated time remaining oscillates from 6 minutes to 22hours 
! I wish it could download in the traditional way. This installer isn't working right for me at all.
Why the hell does it stop downloading if I get signed out? On one hand ND says you don't need to downmload from psn, u download from our servers and then this crap happens that you have to besigned in to download

This is not psn's fault this is the fault of the stupid restriction ND has put on the download that you have to be signed in. Everytime i get signed out, it pauses. If it had been a normal psn download, it would have been done by now !

Funny that I am browsing at full 4mbps speed but I am getting only 200mb or so in an HOUR for this download ! at this rate it will take month for me see this 24 gb through.

That is really painful, feel sorry for you! But this is maybe exactly the problem, when the server infrastructure is not spread out over the world properly.

Exactly why I am against Xbone's policies !
WHat is happening is new to me ! For the last 1 and half years I have been buying DD releases for everygame. I think its this custom installers+ND's servers which is fucking things up for me. Worst part is that Asian nations got the normal preload version, but INdia got the EU version as always, and that usually is a good thing. But i f we had got the normal preload vresion, I would have been playing by now.
.I am completely disheartened. I have stopped the download

I seem to have you all beat. I went to the store and back in 10 minutes, popped in the disc and go! (well that's a lie, I bought it yesterday, but was too tired and only played it this morning).
Have done a lot of digital purchases, but for anything over 10GB, unless it's a game that I'll be playing online for years, or expect to want to remote play with the Vita all the time, or want to have them on both of my Playstation's at the same time, is going to be bought on disc for PS3. I'm not sure yet whether that will change for me for PS4. Harddrives ALWAYS get full eventually, no matter how big. And what doesn't help either is that the disc so far has been cheaper ALWAYS. This time too, particularly Sony titles always seem cheaper (52 I paid this time, and if I had pre-ordered it would have been 5% cheaper still)
I'm ready to change to Digital 100% eventually, but 24GB, nah, not yet.

And .........now my bandwidth got over too ! Holy god, I am fucked ! Wish I could kill the person who didn't let us preload and gave us this stupid installer instead ! I checked again and the download was again paused !!!!! I can't even leave it downloading overnite cos I don't know it might just stay paused most of the time !
Looks like nothing I can do now. Wait for a week for it donwload on 512kbps (will my ps3 survive in this summer) or wait for 1st july. I wasn't expecting this at all ! I downloaded NinoKuni's 22 gb easily and played before ppl got their discs.
