No, when we preorder everything appears in our download list. I downloaded all bonuses and th einstaller. It sits on my XMb now. Its just like th eDemo installer. You launch the installer to start the actual game download.
In earlier preorders, we just got the game link in our download list, and we had to re-initiate the download when preloading became available. We were given a preload date and time via the preo rder confirmation mail. We didn't get any of that for LOU pre order becaue of the special installer. I was guessing the download won't start till launch date for this one, but then Neogaf thread OP says "Asian Versions can Preload"
Would be great if u can ask the OP poster about it.

Our store page is alos updated. Says the initial download is a 200mb installer and full game will be available from 14th

I've got a delivery estimate for tomorrow, so that'll be Saturday then!
I just go to mediamarket the night before, and they never disappoint. But it helps that they're open until 22:00 now (it was 21:00 not long ago) and it's 5 minutes by bike. On my way back though, a girl on a bike got hit hard by a car coming from the side. Man I saw it happen, prompted by the squeal of the cars tires, and she just want straight down on the asphalt, face down, and was knocked out. Ambulance was called soon and while some bystanders checked on her and talked to her waiting for the ambulance, I and a girl directed traffic together (this kind of thing also helps the ambulance get close much easier and faster, so highly recommended). I was actually impressed and a little proud on how everyone immediately worked together quite efficiently. Thank god she came by and could sit up straight and talk, and she didn't seem too much hurt in the end.
Definitely though this is the part about the Last of Us that I'm not looking forward to too much - getting the impression that it's far too bleak and everyone for themselves or worse. But hey, still can't resist trying it out.

Ummm...the download started full speed (have a 4mbps plan) but now seems to have slowed down to a crawl ! Anyone else experiencing this? Maybe cos a lot of ppl are downloading now?

Played the whole night up to 4 AM.

Blazing fast ? I am having weird issues.
I kept it on download for 7 hours and i came back thinking it must be done now. Only to find that the download had paused at 22% as i had signed out from psn somehow !
Signed in again and it resumed. If it going to pause on its own everyime i get logged out, which keeps happening here and is randomn, I don't think my download will ever be done. Oh boy ! such a huge download and I can't leave it un attended.
