Fight Night PS3 Screens

Thank you guys for illustrating my point perfectly:

A little common sense would go a long way with some of you guys, but hey why bother talking to a brick wall right?

So what your trying to asy is that in NO-WAY has the improvment shown got ANYTHING to do with PS3 possibly having slightly more horse power then 360?

Why does this happen?

You are never going to be able to compare the power of the consoles by multiplatform games, nor will you be able to do it for exclusives. Just get over the fact now that trying to find out which one is more powerful is a waste of time and just go with the console that fits your budget, needs, and has the games you want to play.

If you look over the thread, you'll see the vast majority of reasonable people agree that if a 360 version was released this holiday, it would probably look identical. I agree with that POV, the main improvements are texture detail and PS3 has no advantage here at all, it's seems predominatly an artistic improvement.

The better lighting may be due to the default FP10 lighting on 360, as I said in my very first post, but who knows.

New pic, shame its not 1280x720..but never mind.

That's an XBOX 360 screen.

I just had a look at that site. If you search for Fight Night PS3 you get a whole bunch of XBOX 360 screens that are identical to screens from Gamespot months ago (and not a single one from this recent batch of PS3 screens ironically).

Oh, apologies to all

So, the XBox 360 version has the first-person mode? Is this a downloadable upgrade?

Hong.

I'd add my voice to the choir that the visual upgrades will make an apprearance in the next 360 iteration of the game. Given the way the EA machine works, for the most part at least, I think it's obvious. Looks amazing tho, bullshot not withstanding.

suppose it will be posted eventually, heres some new media

IGN video:

1up Preview w/ screens from the NY event:

and supposedly, its only "75%" of the final game's targeted quality.

but as nice as the game looks right now the developers claim it's only at about 75% of the quality they are aiming for in the final version. And it already looks amazing.

The animations in the video are still the same as the 360 version. No where near the orignial trailer (even though it was pre-scripted).

I'd suggest that the rest of the 25% they need to implement to get it to maximum quality be dedicated to animating the boxers. The superslow-mo replay looks poor to me in comparison to the E3 2005 superslow-mo. Graphics are already superb, no need to waste time there.
