Looks awesome, they have the GFX nailed now, I hope for FN4 they completely overhaul the animation system and gameplay, if they do it'll really be the complete package.

Yeah can you imagine the 2K sports team doing the animation for this game? Their animation package for NBA 2K7 is the best I've ever seen.
 
It's almost creepy how good that looks. Something tells me they might be bullshots, way too much AA. But if they get those graphics in the final game...then wow.

Well the pictures are downscaled so that will add some AA, but yeah they look very clean... They still look realtime anyway, just very clean, maybe too clean.

More than likely have PR amounts of AA. Only if they're like 4xAA and downsampled might you be getting that IQ without it being fake.
 
Oddly enough, the more realistic it looks the more fake it looks :???: I'm not quite sure why but even thoug I know its getting more realistic looking, but I can't seem to be tricked into thinking its actually real.
 
wow... these look great.

While playing it on the 360 I also had wished they had a First Person mode so I'm really excited about that as well.
 
I hope they integrate sixasis with this even if it's only for jabs and backwards-dodge.

Quick push forward does a jab.
Pull back does a lean back dodge.

You naturally do the lean back to dodge so it might be very fluid.

I wonder if they could do something like, if you make a move to put the controller infront of your mouth, the player will hold his garde to defense. :smile:

1. Higher Resolution texture's being used?
2. Old texture's with more pixel shading being used?

a technical person earlier has said here that EA used a new modelling capture system which recreates the skin better than what they used in the previous version.
 
This game does look stunning. I have played the 360 version at gamestop and walmart and the PS3 version is significantly sharper and more detailed in my opinion. The 360 version was very good, but this is *GREAT*. Look at the details of the SKIN. You can see the pores and blemishes. Look at his elbow in that one shot. You can see what looks like scars or warts or something.

For this to be a first generation PS3 game has been very happy about the future of the PS3.

I too am interested in exactly what is making this game look better than the 360 version.
