The article made a comparison to Killzone Shadowfall tempura reconstruction.

I thought we here all already agreed that the Secret Sauce was tomato sauce?!

Speaking of Gravity Rush I wonder wonder if they can improve it even further between now and February.

Didn't see this mentioned in here, so:

As already mentioned in:

Digital Foundry is clearly wrong when saying the following in their Just Cause 3 Face-Off article:

Global Illumination clearly is disabled on PS4.

Something is different indeed on PS4. However I find the PS4 shadows more accurate notably on the 4 tanks (screenshot 2):

@grandmaster :

Why did you write this in your Just Cause 3 Face-Off article:

?

It is clearly wrong. Global Illumination is disabled on PS4.

Could you please update your article or do a follow-up article?

Because it would be nice if Avalanche becomes aware of this, so that they can fix it.

When the bounce light is completely over the top, yes. However, aesthetics of an effect don't matter when discussing if a tech feature is present or not.
There's nothing over the top. A white container receiving bounce lighting from sand in the middle of the day looks exactly like that.

PBR, how does it work?

Why does this look more like proper AO running on PS4? Rather than supposed missing GI...

Edit: Actually, If GI is running properly on XB1, then those shadows on the bottom of the containers shouldn't be so pronounced. Better yet, should be at a different angle altogether.

Why would the devs invest in something that is better, put it only on PS4 and not on PC?? Doesn't make sense imo. PS4 is missing stuff.

Just another super bad PS4 port...every other multiplat game shows nowadays an unpolished PS4 version which gets patched later on.
