In America, yea. They love their guns and military there. It’s very common to be sitting at a central airport gate and just see platoons of teenage boys in military kit packed and taking off a flight together to some base.
A bit sad really. I was competing in esports at their age and having fun.

No, but it's sad to see children go into this at their age. Children should be children, not soldiers. After 19 it's entirely up to you. The smoking and alcohol requirement is 21 while army is 17.
Currently in brick and mortar stores in my region (and amazon.fr) Xbox Series S, X and Switch are all available while it's still impossible (or incredibly hard) to find any PS5s. Seems Sony have prioritized US and UK, again.

This is the same all over Europe. I think PS5 will begin to be available easily next Spring. They will have shipped around 43 to 45 million PS5.

Yea, I get it. I think playing is fine. I'm not against military, I just don't like the idea that we could see kids come home in coffins. Interesting, so no longer any shortage of PS5's in NA (or at least in the US) while Europe still has shortages. I wonder if Sony shipped a lot more PS5s to the US expecting there to be higher demand there since the price is still the same as launch while in EU they were expecting lower demand with the higher price?
Brick and Mortar Best Buy stores still have stock of the GOW edition here in my area (2 stores) as does their website and Amazon as well.
Will have to wait to see if they get restocked again before the end of the year to know for sure. But looking like supply and demand might be equalizing in NA either due to greater supply or reduced demand.

People want PS5 here. They just send more consoles on strongest Microsoft market in US and UK. In Europe people prefer wait the stock of Ps5 to buy a console.
EDIT: In Spain, Belgium, France when you order a PS5 it arrive only in January and they continue to sold forced bundle at 700 or 800 euros and people buy them.

Even when Xbox is significantly the cheapest way to play Call of Duty, players would rather pay more and wait longer to play it on PS5, but apparently there's nothing like this game out there and it can never be replicated or replaced.

it depends on where you are. Was at walmart to ship somethign via fedex and they had switches for days but only 1 ps5 disc version and 0 xbox series consoles.
I speak only about Europe out of UK.

Sadly can't sell Guns or ammo at walmarts in NJ. We have some really illegal laws restricting our 2nd amendment rights
NJ is such a weird state. You can't even pump your own gas there.
