I believe the PS4's psu is universal. They only need to change the cord packed in.

I don't see it that way, with Kinect removed (NSA SPY DEVICE!!) and both consoles priced identically with game pack ins, the playing field is completely leveled at this point with only existing momentum giving the PS4 an edge.

But the Xbox bundles are worse, too. At the lowest price the Xbox One comes with the Gears remake or an old Lego Movie game. PS4 packs in Uncharted trilogy or Battlefront at that price. To get a new game with the Xbox One you have to pay $50 more.

Gears remake includes all the previous Gears 360 games for free. They're all backward compatible.

If you bought this weekend they offered a free game with any bundle.

Will be interesting to see if they do it again before Black Friday.

360 versions via BC is a far cry from remasters like the Uncharted collection.

My reply wasn't about quality. I have no idea how any PS3 or PS4 games look, but I do know that when you get the remastered Gears game on XB1 you also get more than 1 game, which bgroovy failed to mentioned.

Same was also with PS3. My friends imported Japanese PS3 just days after Japanese launch, and the console worked perfectly on EU power grid.

Tomb Raider #28 on release day. This is a good example why pushing games out for the holiday shopping season can backfire. Same thing might happen to Just Cause 3 too.

Or maybe not releasing games on the platform they sold the most (PS/PC). Go check their facebook page, for the past year 90% of the comments is "i'll buy it when it comes on Ps4/PC", for the first few months it was just "fuck you Crystal Dynamics".

That won't changes the sales for the XB1/360 owners though.

Please define what you mean by totally failed to capitalize, they have one of the fastest selling consoles ever, lead their competition in sales and market share, what exactly would qualify as a non-failure?
Indeed I'm a bit surprised by such a comment, Sony finances were pretty bad a couple years ago, they got a system that sold on its own merit without them being required to bleed some extra cash to sustain it. On the other end, MSFT only avoided the blood bath by removing kinect, putting lots of money and work in reworking the UI, they still needed to subsidize the system further and they are still behind in the US.
It is a pushover to attack Sony, making money is the goal of really high percentage of the companies out there, it is not to sustain with deep pockets one bad project after another. I would be wary to bet that MSFT will make some real money this gen.

I don't think including the old Gears games (most of which don't even work yet) makes the Gears remaster bundle any better in comparison to the PS4 bundles.

Sony has been offering like for like deals. Best Buy is offering the Uncharted bundle with Fallout 4 for free right now. Lots of similar deals all over. Xbox One doesn't have any advantage there.

You keep thinking I'm posting to show an advantage for the XB1 like this is a game. I posted because you left out(inadvertently or not) what MS deals include. Whether or not one is better or not is left up to personal tastes.

I understand why you brought up the fact that the Gears bundle includes the other (untouched) Gears titles. But I don't think it's really up to personal tastes. One includes 3 remastered titles, the other includes 1, and 2 untouched titles. So just based on that alone, the PS4 bundle is better.

It's not really up

You dont understand that he's not comparing at all, hes merely stating what others have forgotten to state or purposefully state incorrectly.

And you're wrong as the one includes 4 untouched titles, gears 1, gears 2, gears 3, and gears judgement, and then the 1 remastered title of gears 1 remastered as well.

Gears I think includes 1-3 and Judgement so it has the first game as original and remastered plus 3 other games as originals.

Edit: slow with my iPad...

I never made any factual claim about the included number of games. I said the PS4 bundles at the lowest price point provided a better value which they unquestionably do irrespective of the number of games. Uncharted Collection is a $60 product. Gears remastered is a $40 product. Battlefront will be a brand new $60 game. LEGO the movie is from last year and retails for about $20 now. It's a bit silly of you to imply I've distorted the picture here when you're the one making ticky tacky "corrections" that don't actually change the anything.

Sony does seem to be a little more aggressive this year than last year, last year they kind of handed the holiday months to MS and I expected that to happen this year too, but now I'm starting to think that Sony might take Oct-Dec each... I hope we get the numbers regardless, Sony should be able to sell a lot more units than last year.
