Sunset Overdrive is something like 23GB. Not sure how achievable a demo would be.
Since when is the size of a game indicative of the existence of a demo?? There have been demos for a lot of games of varying sizes. The demo will have a small portion of the full game and therefore it is usually a small download.

Because providing 1/10 of the game world in a demo does not mean the demo is going to be 1/10 the size of the full game. I have no idea how the assets divy up the disc space, so I don't know what could and couldn't be removed for a demo.

I have a dream...
That one day mediocrity will be punished by the simple fact that people will stop buying half-assed releases like ACU.
But it seems that now more than ever, mediocrity is still rewarded, and as such there is no incentive whatsoever for Ubisoft - and others - to release games that are far, far from ready.

The Infamous demo (still on the PSN store) is 1,183mb and has a fair amount of city to run around in. Like you I don't know how Sunset Overdrive's 23Gb is spread out but if you work with an isolated piece of the map, shed all the geometry and textures not required in that area, then shed all the missions, CGI movies (if any), sound effects and dialogue that also aren't required then it's going to be a whole lot slimmer.

But what if it's 10Gb? Demos are a good way to try before you buy. I'd never have bought Infamous if I didn't play the demo.

(Month View)

PS4 has eclipsed the COD:AW bundle. Only charting in front is the Unity bundle for X1. To note however, in the top 60 there are 5 Xbox 1 SKUs vs the single 1 PS4 SKU. In the hourly view, X1 bundles are no longer charting favourably.
There's 2 PS4 skus (Destiny bundle).

This can all change on BF though, where a big chunk of sales are.

That said, I do think XB1 will win November, unless Sony has sufficient quantity of their holiday bundles and they sell like mad. But holiday bundles are always limited quantity, and MS has month-long promotions.

Oh geez LOL yea #49 totally didn't see that one. It wasn't like the rest lol.

You can of course provide just a part of the game, be it 1/10 or 1/5. Also don't forget that these open world games have a lot of audio taking up space, and only a fraction of that needs to be on the demo. Point is, releasing a demo is additional work that takes time not everyone has the luxury of having. But there are of course ways to do it.

Isn't Sony also releasing a GTAV bundle, and a couple others in time for BF?
Yes, Sony is releasing a GTAV bundle with a TLoU:R download code for 399USD. And also a LBP3 and LEGO Batman 3 bundle. Both great bundles targeting different audiences. Usually BF specific bundles are limited quantity though, so I dunno if it will be enough to compete with MS' month-long promotions, and their own BF deals.

Also the standalone $399 PS4 console just moved ahead the AC Xbone bundle on Amazon's hourly sellers list. It'll be real interesting to see what happens when the GTA+TLOU/ Lego+LBP3 bundles are available.

Sad. Sad meaning; XB1 gamers aren't giving this game a chance.

IMHO the game was better suited to PlayStation owners, MS are trying to widen appeal...but they should be trying to get back the core they've lost/are losing.

And wow at the thought MS might not win November...I mean, if they can't win November with Halo and the Unity/CoD bundles then I don't think they will win any month will they?

I'm just saying, sometimes you're better off fighting the fights you can win and it's a shame this wasn't on PS4 (for Insomniac).

I would have said the same if Destiny had been a PS4 exclusive with rolls reversed.
