[360, PS3] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

The problem is you can find many local resturans that serve great food . I don't know any smaller games with such a good multiplayer experiance in the fps arena.

Everyhting else i've played have sucked multiplayer wise in the last few days.

thats true i play only 2 titles online halo and cod, nothing else gives me as much fun as those titles. I tried many titles online and they can be fun for a while but i always come back to halo and cod.

Conversely, the best online gaming experiences I had were with Battlefield 1942, and the FREE PC game wolfenstein: enemy territory. It's all about who you play with for me.
I didn't like UC2 multiplayer too much until I made friends online, and now it's good as any other shooter for me. As long as the gameplay is fine and there's a party system, all shooter multiplayer experiences are similar for me.

I like this game. I'm starting to get my limited skills back. Last night I was having a good round when my self imposed net nanny feature kicked me off the internet, letting me know it was time to go to bed. I was a little pissed off about it.

I do think it is better than Call of Duty 4. There are just more features, and more of them useful. There are going to be a wider variety of good player builds this time around.

I'm impressed how much they managed to evolve the perk system over 4. In 4, you quickly had a good class setup and didn't think to do much with it. Now I'm like a kid in a candy store. The perks have a pro level. Each perk is very useful the combinations together can lead to varying results.

You can easily have 2 people with similar play style using the same gun but with diff perks and achieve similar results. That's called good balance.

I'm also glad they didn't try to prop up the bad players with the death perks. Yeah, they are there but for the most part, a bit useless. The good players still get the hefty rewards which is how it should be. I'm upto level 32 in the MP and have no complaints so far.

The shooting is perfect, the balance is good, no "must have classes/perks," choppers can be taken down easier and so on.

I really hate the MP in this. You basically have to camp to get kills and like 85% of kills are shots to the back because of it.And then it has the stupid radar to where if you even bother to start walking around you better have good eyes on it because the campers will see you coming from behind walls.

Running and gunning will often get you killed. Absolutely. You need to move slowly, with tactical and map awareness to get kills.

There are perks that easily offset being spotted. I'd worry more about running around and letting people hear your footsteps.

Running and gunning has and allways will be the best and most efficient way of winning in CoD. You just need aim, and know where campers usually are.

Bought the game, took a little break from my exams studies by playing for 2,5 hours. Was hard in the initial rounds as everybody was camping and i didnt know spots.

Almost 500 kills later i learned spots and came to the conclusion that you can pretty much run and gun like in CoD4.

Oh, and using Akimbo MP5K is a lot of fun, althought you are useless at longer ranges.

Oh, and if i remember correctly im around lvl 20, seems leveling is a lot faster this time around, as 2,5 hours gave me a lower rank in CoD4.

Hmm, I guess they want people to get that satisfaction even quicker. I suspect a return of the "prestige" mode to offset this along with the extra 15 rank levels?

QUESTION:

In the run up to this game, did they release many bullshots for it?
I dont think they did but Im not 100% sure

Leveling starts to move slower at level 25 in the 40s its slow as heck.

Remember your going to get alot of points quickly for doing perk challanges and other stupid things like falling 50 feet. As you level up these are fewer and in regards to the perk leveling they are much harder.

I hit level 22 in 4 hours. I'm now at level 46 with 22 hours played.

Depends on how you define bullshots. The pictures they released had upped AA, aside from that they where real, if my memory is correct.

I played that No Russian level on my friends Xbox. I thought it was pretty cool.

They start by justifying what's about to happen, saying it's for a greater good. And then you go shooting innocent people. Shooting them when they surrender, shooting them crawling wounded on the floor. Having that Makerov guy pointing out any you might have missed, so you can run over and mow them down. And when it's all over, the terrorist turnaround and shoot you. Leaving you behind to take the blame. It's poetic justice.

Beyond that I still don't like the SP for the same reason I didn't like CoD4. You still get pushed ahead because the enemies keep respawning. The spec ops missions are a lot better, giving you a bit more room for playing it how you want to. Didn't try the MP.

I'm not going to buy the game for myself, even though all my friends have it.

Get them addicted early on with quick leveling up, and make 'em work alot for the rest so it can be game can be lengthened out ;)

Found a map exploit . On the cod 2 map with the trenches and the big hedges above them. If you jump 7 times into the hedges you will fall into them and then no one can hurt you

Man, I'm dying a lot in MP.

Try camping like everyone else. :(
Game even gives you a medal or something for camping.

Awesome net code as well, first come first served (practically instant) kills. Good old host advantage is back from MW too. 16p p2p rocks!!

I'm quite puzzled how anybody serious about MP gaming can love this MP.
I guess it's all about leveling for some.

Decent tactical shooter though. :)
