How is competitive MP? I would be more interested in the game if the SP rewarded you with some intense arena action and teamplay.
It would be cool to do CTF, Conquest, Assault/Defend, etc where you and your friends would work together to get the right skill balance to take into MP matches.
Sounds like MP is a simple one on one affair in an arena with little features?
After reading this thread, how is this game considered an RPG?

I think that is a lost opportunity: migrating your SP progress into a MP gameplay. Even a Halo/CoD clone (if it ain't broke, don't fix it) with this single variable: You can bring in your SP advancement. This could make team, especially clan, play very interesting.
It would produce a TON of grinding and dynamic online strategy. Trying to find good combos of weapons, powerups, defenses, etc with classes could result in some pretty unexpected results.
Toss in some quirks--e.g. bet guns and gear in matches, a "perk" that allows you to utilize enemy weapons, etc.
I am not much into SP or Coop, but it seems like this title could have made the RPG element really awesome for online play.
Hey, maybe you'll get that wish in the form of DLC.
You pretty much won't play a game unless there is a human player down the sights of your gun, will you? (Peggle, Trials, Geometry Wars excluded)
... I am into social gaming
I believe that's how Futureshop and Bestbuy operate -- they have a certain amount of pre-order copies, and if they're all spoken for, they mark it as "Sold Out", but that's for their online stock only. As Scott Arm mentioned, stores should have copies for the same price.I don't get the Canadian sales - they are all marked as "sold out". Not sure if this is because the allotted for pre-order copies are already all spoken for or if it is because the game has not been released yet.
Has anyone actually successfully ordered a copy for $40 yet?
Cheers
How is the voice chat and matchmaking on the ps3 version?.
