Wishfull thinking

It be nice if Sega released all 3 Panzer Dragoon games in a special/collectors edition set of some kind. It shouldn't be hard to cram all three games on one DVD, right ? Toss in NiGTHS as a bounus.............ok maybe not :p

Speaking of of which, its almost 10 years since the release of the original PD.

Also, I might aswell admit that I'm a gamer that suffers from nostalgia...haha

You mean all four Panzer Dragoon games don't you?

It is pretty easy to get the first two shooters. PDO is still widely available the last time I checked. The only game that is hard to get is Panzer Dragoon Saga. There are a few mint, unopened copies laying around somewhere.

I know this is a tricky subject, and as long as people don't give links we should be fine, but has Saturn been properly emulated yet? I mean, if i were to look around hard enough, would i be able to find Saturn emulators and get to play all the games that i'll never get to play otherwise?

Dunno properly properly, but MAME for example emulates saturn hardware well enough to at least play the arcade games that were released for the platform...

I visit emu sites semi-regularly, but I must admit it was a while since I saw any news about a stand-alone saturn emulator; they may have been abandoned by now. Not sure about the state of development at the time of abandonment (if that's what happened).

Zwei is the best shooter of the bunch - a better game than Orta, and my favourite "on rails" shooter to date. Works like a dream with the 3D controller (with a slight tweak to the controls to stop an incompatability issue - Zwei came out before the controller). Looks like ass compared to Orta, of course.

Saga is, IMHO, still the best RPG that's been made.

Too bad that Sega is dead (or hibernating).
