My point is that sony can show cgi and not have any problems basicly get away with doing it . But when ms showed raven they got bashed for it .

jvd you still don't get it. KZ and I would also like to add Motorstorm have not come out yet. MS have not had a game that looked like Raven. That's past tense a.k.a. old news. You haven't given Sony their chance to prove themselves yet. Wait for the game to be released before you say something like that.

SOny had thier chance. They claimed it was real footage of a ps3 game . The killzone dev jon batz or something like that on ign confirmed its just a representation of what gameplay could look like and that is is not a real ps3 game .

If sony said here is some cgi of what we think we might accomplish one day on the ps3 that would be fine. But that is not what they did . They passed this off as actual ps3 gameplay footage and the reason is simply they had no real game play (and still don't ) to show .

Now you may feel that is fine . But i know that some of the "Demos" for the ps2 like namco girl and the face demo were not met with the ps2 . Yet we hear nothing about this when killzone was shown .

But if microsoft showed a killzone cgi video people would start bitching at them (like they did with the pgr3 video)

That is the double standard i'm talking about . I believe that final games of this gen will look better than gow . But i don't believe the cgi killzone will be reached as there is alot of stuff there that just wont be possible and the texture counts alone are insane .

Go to gametrailers and download the latest COD2 360 vid.

Then compare it to Killzone 2 trailer side by side. I opened one in winamp, one in media player.

It's actually fairly comparable. COD2 is maybe 70% as good. I wouldn't say they look from different generations.

no they are not even in the same league , look at the humans for an example , the lvl of facial detail and movement is leaps and bounds better than the cod videos

Sony has not had their chance. The game is not out yet. Why does Sony have to show their game on your terms? And the PS3 has had real gameplay. You just don't want to admit it.

Please list the real gameplay on ps3 units which by the way is not what i'm talking about . I am talking about killzone and the other cgi demos

Also sony said killzone was a ps3 game and was running on the ps3 . It ws infact not .

I don't know why we need to keep having this debate but the very fact that your still defending them to the death proves my point .
