The Framerate Analysis Thread part 2

This is really something of interesting, ps3 & 360 lag analysis of RE6 demo:

Like RE5, ps3 seems to have less lag impact. It completely destroy my perception of input lag in the ps3/360 multiplat of capcom. Everything seems right in the tools of this guy; probably DF needs to start to do something like this in the comparison because reverse drastically the verdict based only on personal perception, I have in mind DD.

I am absolutely in love with FIFA 13. Best sports games in history, in my opinion.

But I wonder....what's the framerate of the game when you are using the Pro camera? :)

When you play the game utilizing other cameras the framerate is a perfect, rock solid 60 fps, but when you switch to the Pro camera, the framerate doesn't seem to be 60 fps, that's for sure, at least to me.

Any help would be appreciated. I like the camera, so I wonder if it's just me...or it is true that it's the only camera where the game doesn't run at its flawless, usual 60 fps. I've got the Xbox 360 version.

I believe Pro camera has always had unlocked framerate, where it's running close to 30.
You can tell this when you are waiting for the game to start and just kicking around, it's smooth but as soon as the view switches from the training field to the stadium the framerate takes a dip.

Thanks for the reply, I also think the framerate takes a huge dip and becomes *jumpy* in comparison to the rest of the cameras.

That's the best way I can describe it. It's perfectly playable, but when you switch to another camera it's a pleasure to look at the game.

A Digital Foundry face-off would do wonders to know the exact framerate, but I don't remember them writing an article about FIFA in the past...

Just came across this:

What's the source of the footage?

Probably this:

Although this particular video appears to be encoded at 30 fps (29.970 fps) according to:

MediaInfo said:
File size: 611 MiB
Duration: 2mn 47s
Bit rate: 30.5 Mbps
Width: 1920 pixels
Height: 1080 pixels
Frame rate: 29.970 fps

Which would probably mean that it would be impossible for analysing tools to get any higher readings than 30 fps from this video, wouldn't it?

ZOE Comparison
Surprised it's better on 360(But still soso lol)

ps2 is more similar to 360 architecture than to ps3, I don't find that surprising. I'll bet most of the ps2 porting will work better ported on 360 imho.
