The Complete List of PC Ray Traced Titles with Classification

Ark Survival Evolved seems to use hardware Lumen, at native resolution (2K and 4K), the 3080 is as fast as or faster than 7900XTX.

The benchmark seems somewhat awkward and misleading as they neglected to include IHV upscaling (DLSS, FG, FSR) in the results. These days more often than not a gamer will use their GPU upscaler in cases where performance is lacking, similar to use of rBAR and SAM but without the possible chance enabling results in a performance decline.

Today, NVIDIA announced that the upcoming tactical first-person shooter game Gray Zone Warfare will support DLSS 3 (Frame Generation) from day one, accelerating performance on GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards. As with any game with built-in DLSS 3 support, Gray Zone Warfare will also feature Reflex, which any owner of GeForce GTX 900 Series GPUs and newer will be able to activate for up to 50% reduction in system latency. Last but not least, the Unreal Engine 5 powered game will support the hardware accelerated ray-traced version of Lumen lighting to deliver cutting-edge visuals.

Gray Zone Warfare was included in our list of the most anticipated shooter games. It is scheduled to launch this year on Steam Early Access, although the developers plan to keep it there for a few years while they implement the full feature set and content. The vast (42 square kilometers) open world island map inspired by the landscapes of Laos will offer an immersive sandbox experience, while the unique health system aims to simulate human body injuries in a much more realistic way than any shooter.

Looks like Dragon Dogma 2 will have Path Tracing, a new mod is released that unlocks full Path Tracing in the game, however it's still incomplete as the game lacks proper denoisers, this might change in the future when the game officially supports path tracing.

Right now users can activate path tracing and enjoy far better shadows and lighting, if a bit noisy at the moment, DLSS is advised here as it works best to minimize the noise in motion.

DF take on Dragon's Dogma 2 path tracing mod, apparently you can increase the samples per pixels to 4, and the bounces to 7.

It looks phenomenal. Some scenes like at 1:35 show a generational improvement IMO. Is it possible for someone to hack a denoiser into it?

Don't expect capcom to officially patch this into anything but I hope going forward they consider giving their customers the option to enable it. The cynical side of me thinks they will release the remakes again in a path traced version in the future ;)

Some of the differences don’t make sense to me. For example, why is there such a difference in direct sunlight color & intensity in outdoor scenes? That implies it’s an artistic decision and not related to raster vs PT.

It’s unlikely capcom will spend money on older RE titles but maybe there’s a sliver of hope they do something with dragons dogma.

Added Homeworld 3, launched with RT shadows.

Has anyone noticed that the macOS version of AC:Shadows mentions RT:GI? Whereas none of the other storefronts mention it at all? I think this would be the first AC game with RT right?

Are there any improvements to the ray tracing features in F1 24?

Simon: Yes, in F1 24, we have extended the Ray Traced Dynamic Diffuse Global Illumination solution. DDGI is a technique that better represents the light response in shaded areas. This gives us an extra dose of realism in terms of softer shadows, light response, and light bounce across such dramatic F1 locations as a bright (or rainy!) Monaco, the unmatchable light show of Las Vegas, or the lush forest of Spa Francochamps.

F1 24 launches with ray traced shadows, reflections and diffuse global illumination, fully integrated into the general presets of the game (High - Ultra High)

Actually runs fairly decent on RDNA2/3 considering the amount of stuff it is doing with RT:
