In MP, you choreograph your own set pieces.
In MP you'll have the same immersion breaking idiots who jump run everywhere.. just like in the Star Wars movies! :nope:

Surely a stamina system could limit hopping? Is there a fear shooter players would rebel?
Then they'll be spinning fast to get a vantage in all directions, or crouch running, or jump-shotting. There's invariably some weird movement that gives some sort of advantage that is just going to look weird - it'll just look worse in Battlefront because the rest of the game looks so Star Warsy(tm).

Lava doesn't look that hot ( :p ) either, take out the Star Wars audio nostalgia and this game doesn't really look that impressive to me. Maybe i am still a bit salty about Bf4 and how Dice/EA handled that (still think it's a great game right now).

I am sure scientific accuracy was their main focus when they started the project that includes Star Wars in the title :p

I think his point is you wouldn't see the beams moving as discrete projectiles. But SW doesn't use lasers - it uses 'blasters', so this laser discussion is moot.
Blasters are what the weapons are called, they fire particle beams according Star Wars cannon so uh...

Lol blasters aren't lasers! They are some form of compressed gas particle that is shot an energized

That's my point, beam weapons in Star Wars don't move at the speed of light so they're not lasers therefore you're explanation doesn't apply.

The speed of light is not a constant, it's relative to its environment. It's slower travelling through Earths atmosphere because of the refractive index of air, compared to that of a vacuum.

I'd like to see some astronomical environmental data of that galaxy far, far away.
