In MP you'll have the same immersion breaking idiots who jump run everywhere.. just like in the Star Wars movies! In MP, you choreograph your own set pieces.

Then they'll be spinning fast to get a vantage in all directions, or crouch running, or jump-shotting. There's invariably some weird movement that gives some sort of advantage that is just going to look weird - it'll just look worse in Battlefront because the rest of the game looks so Star Warsy(tm).Surely a stamina system could limit hopping? Is there a fear shooter players would rebel?
Lasers are used in many applications because they don't cast radiant light. Finally a game which is scientifically accurate! Not a single light source from the beam weapons. Pathetic.
Lasers also travel at the speed of light.Lasers are used in many applications because they don't cast radiant light. Finally a game which is scientifically accurate!
Which is part of the reasons they don't radiate light. You canna change the laws of physics.Lasers also travel at the speed of light.
Blasters are what the weapons are called, they fire particle beams according Star Wars cannon so uh...I think his point is you wouldn't see the beams moving as discrete projectiles. But SW doesn't use lasers - it uses 'blasters', so this laser discussion is moot.

Hey, I didn't build them! Don't blame me for George Lucas's shoddy science education! But they cast light in the movies.
That's my point, beam weapons in Star Wars don't move at the speed of light so they're not lasers therefore you're explanation doesn't apply.Which is part of the reasons they don't radiate light. You canna change the laws of physics.
