Sony Playstation E3 2013 Events

The indie stuff was very nice and very exciting considering how open Sony's platform appears to be. The next naughty dog, and Santa Monica studios just may come out of that indie program.

Overall with both shows there was only a dearth of interesting concepts being brought to the floor. I think that is why Kinect gameplay in this iteration is actually exciting.

I may put together a team a release my idea for game called system warz. You graduate from college and either move out West or to Japan and design the next big thing and have to win market share will fighting with trolls, CEOs who have special moves like price drops and exclusive content.

I gotta say that the guy who designed this back in May was a visionary. A quite accurate mock-up, imho.

that's no coincidence IMO. Good find though

Video game tycoon!

I'm kinda curious what Naughty Dog, Media Molecule, Santa Monica, Studio Japan will lead with on PS4. I asked earlier about these developers and it was confirmed that none were directly developing any of the stuff we saw at E3.

Killzone - PS4 announced
Uncharted
Infamous - PS4 announced
God of War
Little Big Planet

All of these arguably have life in them, any news on the IPs not currently in development for PS4?

Nobody care for the game Contrast? I thought it was the most interesting game I saw at e3 today, it seemed fresh rather than just another sequel.

So was Microsoft engineers better when X360 (and original Xbox too) was smaller than PS3?

don't forget.

where as the PS3's was internal.

and the XboxOne also has an external power supply I believe, where as the PS4 spec sheet is saying it is internal again.

I still think the best looking console design so far was the Xbox 360 S.

Xbone would probably look better than PS4 if it was just a bit slimmer and not so chunky looking.

Yes, and asynchronous multiplayer also not behind paywall, which I like.

Oh, okay. Here as me thinking Sony had put free games behind a paywall, and they haven't. They're certainly very flexible in embracing business models.

Yeah, I thought the same. Still...paying for playing Destiny or Killzone MP is hard to swallow. Especially since now both of my future consoles want me to pay to play online. I am not sure if I have interest in paying Gold and Plus simultaneously! Not that I care financially, just the attitude of those two big ass companies is what makes me shake fists!

Don't forget that Sony still have some AAA PS3 titles still to launch this year. e.g. ND aren't going to want to talk about their shiny new game whilst the last of Us is 'still in cinemas'...
