"Proper" MGS4 Teaser on PS3 confirmed for TGS

perhaps i misunderstood... but it appears that some ppl dont know that cutscenes or gameplay its the same in MGS, it always been. cinematics or not, that is real-time and it looks good.

we all wanted real-time, now we got it..

look, at this point... everything is starting to be an excuse.

im full with it... if its pretty, its a Render. If its prettty and real-time, its cinematics.

i mean, come on... you guys ever played MGS? the loss from Cutscenes to Gameplay is, none? yea, almost none.

cinematic view makes it interesting, but thats it... interesting. MGS goes from cutscenes to gameplay all the time with the same graphics. Gameplay is to be played, cutscenes is to be viewed. Graphics are the same in both.

That you dskneo and Phil. We are all on the same page. And for valioso I never once said that GOW was ugly. I think GOW is one of the best games graphically that I have ever seen. I much much perfer MGS4's visual art style, but that's me. Yet alot of people feel the same way I do to so...

I still till this day don't understand why the only game that can look super great is GOW. Why is it since E3 that when certain games are shown you get certain people that say this is impossible or you WILL NOT get that in-game.

How do they know. If the guys working on the game show that this is what we will get why not believe them? I also think people are forgetting that this is the alpha kit that devs are working on here. For some reason people forget that when it comes to the PS3, yet praised the quotes when people on MS side said it. I still can't figure out why the difference of opionion from smart people on that.

I never said anything about what you said.. my only pt is that if sony does something some people (not naming anyone) drool and when MS does something as impressive those same people pick at flaws, pgr3, gow come to mind in those discussions. and viceversa for the MS boys against sony..

does it look good? yes it looks incredible.
is it realtime? as demonstrated yes it is realtime
is it gameplay? no is not.
Will it look that good during gameplay? no one knows.

I just dont get why every thread has to end in a sony vs ms thing.

Well to be fair isn't that what you just did though. Now I have to address what you just said, which will go back and forth forever. I think pgr3 is looking to be the best racing game graphics wise that will come out next year. I have no problem what so ever saying that. I'm no fanguy. GOW too me likes simply crazy (which is a good thing). I have no problem saying that either.

At the same time though the new GT4 vision video does have my juices flowing. The two next gen cars are already looking great and this same battle between the two mammoths will come back. Have you seen that video valioso buy the way?
