no, just the port, and a simple antenna would be included in the package, yes

That would go against Microsoft's design philosophy. Right now Microsoft makes one console without an integrated power supply. They just change out the power the cord & the external brick depending on market. As Shifty mentions it would need to be a tuner & since there are different tuners for different markets they would have to basically build at least 3 different consoles. It makes much more sense to support the HDMI Input for the majority of their target & then follow up with a USB tuner for the rest. I agree it would have been much better if it was available at launch initial launch, but the HDMI Input was more supported in the first markets. So it makes sense that they would bring out the TV tuner when they are launching in the rest. I just hope they understand that a TV tuner in the US/Canada market would be a great addition even if it doesn't serve as many in the UK & European markets.

Are they full XB1's or are they only releasing the non-Kinect SKU? One of the theories/rumours/stories regards dropping Kinect was difficulty in making it work worldwide, wasn't it?

A Kinectless SKU might have allowed them to launch globaly at the end of 2013, with the Kinected SKU going on sale when localisation was complete.

The original plan was to roll out Kinect to Teir 2 at launch, so unless this has slipped back I expect Kinect to put in a showing in many or all of these countries.

Although give that there are *still* chuff all Kinect games, maybe it wouldn't be such a big thing if it slipped ...

MS need competetive pricing coming this late to the game, and without any Kinect killer apps, that's for sure.

DLNA coming soon:

Starting in the early access program later this month, new social features making it easier for gamers to connect with their friends and new ways to access their TV and entertainment throughout their homes will be coming to Xbox One. The updates include:
  • New “Friends” section – the new Friends section has been available for a few early access Preview members and we’re expanding it to everyone enrolled in the Preview program. The new Friends section enables users to see at a glance what’s going on with their friends. They can stay up-to-date with their current activities, the most popular games their friends are playing, and a Gamerscore leaderboard to see who has improved their Gamerscore over the last 30 days.
  • Snap Center – Some of gamers’ favorite features in the Xbox 360 guide, are coming to Xbox One in a way that’s now truly be side-by-side with games. Messages, friends, parties, and achievements will all be available in the new Snap Center, providing a seamless way to switch back and forth without having to leave a game.
  • Threaded Messages – keeping gamers in their games while they multitask has been a huge focus. The new Messages app features threaded messages with the full conversation history – including embedded links to Game DVR clips – that can be viewed without interrupting gameplay.
  • Media Player – a new app will be available soon that enables users to play media files from either an attached USB device or from a network connected home media server that supports DLNA protocols. The preview version of the Media Player app will initially only support USB devices, with DLNA support coming soon. Xbox One will support more formats than Xbox 360, including support for dozens of new file formats like mpeg 2 TS, animated gifs and mkv which will be added by the end of the year. See below for additional file formats.
  • Xbox One Digital TV Tuner –announced last week, this new accessory will enter a limited preview program in Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain), in advance of its retail launch beginning in October.
  • Stream TV to SmartGlass – launching first in markets receiving the Xbox Digital TV Tuner, Xbox One owners will be able to stream their TV across their home network to their smartphones and tablets using the Xbox SmartGlass app. They can also pause, play and rewind as well as change channels, without interrupting gameplay on the Xbox One. This will work for SmartGlass apps on Windows, iOS, and Android.
  • Boot to TV – Now Xbox One owners will be able to set their console to boot directly to television when coming out of connected standby.
  • Live TV mini guide – for markets where OneGuide is available, a new mini guide on the bottom of the screen will display details about the TV content that is currently playing. Users can quickly change channels and see what’s on other channels, while still watching TV.
  • Country Expansion – we’re doing a lot of work on the backend to prepare for Xbox One to launch in 29 new markets in the coming weeks.

Native .mkv file handling coming as well. Surprised by that one, its not even part of Windows.

Streaming TV to Smartglass is an interesting one, especially since you can change channels remotely as well (presumably just with Kinect).

Snap center, media player and dlna are all great. Also, game pre-loading begins at the end of September. Microsoft is doing a great job with the expansion of OS features and services.

Looks like they are starting versions with a 1TB hard drive:

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare bundle features 1TB hard drive and the game, for £429.99.

Oh, and a Geometry Wars for XBOX One...

So in exchange for an extra £80 you get COD instead of Fifa and a hard drive worth an extra £10.

Sounds like an ... err .... bargain.

I assumed the COD pack came with Kinect, but aparrently not. That's right bobbins, that is.

With the current install sizes (20-60 GB per game), 500 GB is a complete joke. On my PS4 I'm glad I replaced the 500 GB with a 1.5 TB drive.

Yeah, 500 GB is a little small. But that HDD upgrade is cheap from a component POV, while the COD bundle is expensive.

For £80 you could plug in a 2TB 5.25 drive that's twice as fast a laptop drive.

Hell, for £80 you could buy a £350 Fifa pack, COD, and an external USB powered drive to hide behind BOne, and you wouldn't have the Fugly and cheap looking CODBONE design box. And you could sell COD when you got bored of it, because you'd have a physical copy.

What awful value.

There are rumours that "the other camp" will also release a 1 TB model. We'll see in 2 hours from now.

yeaaaaah indonesia not supported again -___-

the only one that officially sell their console in Indonesia is Sony. A country where piracy is as common as drinking water and available on street, on shopping mall, via telephone, via SMS. And PS4 + Xbox One does not have piracy. Why MS does not sell their console here, heck if they are lazy, they can supply console from Singapore.
