You should tweet them asking if all of the post processing is done at 1080p, especially motion blur. Also ask them for a detailed breakdown of all of their render target resolutions. You have a right to know.
IIRC the car game GT5 (amongst others no doubt) also called itself 1080p, but in reality it was something like 1280x1080 not 1920x1080How much clearer than 'it's 1080P' can you get
