Mass Effect 3

My copy shipped yesterday, but I'm skeptical that it would arrive before Thursday. Tomorrow would be a nice day to get it as I've already managed to plot myself out of the office on Thursday. Basically I have nice amount of time to retreat into my chamber and commence full no-life mode on and put big hours in to this at least until Monday, which should be enough :)

 Just saw the feed... she did waaaaat. :(

There was another feed, from some Allience contact person, that suggests she might have been saved... Would be nice to see this character again, sure, but I can understand if Bioware didn't have the time to arrange for everyone to make an appearance in the game.

I'd suggest people to stay clear from IGN. They have different ending videos up and the names of those videos contain HEAVY spoilers.

Turns out that feed was a fan, so the reporter really pulled a Carter as it seems.
Must be a first though, and a very interesting take on the old War of the Worlds radioplay event.

As in, death of a fictional character broadcasted live on Twitter as a report on an alien invasion

Wonder why they didn't do it the same way as ME2 with the in-game Cerberus Network updating. Most folks won't have seen this twitter feed in real-time anyway.

Those who did had a pretty cool experience though and it cost nothing. Sending messages daily would not have created such an intensity, and it was also interactive, people were able to retweet and respond. And it was something new to try :) and I think it was pretty clever and well executed, too, although I went to sleep well before it ended.

If someone already got a game and is from EU, he can go to lan settings and use this proxy [218.189.26.158:8080] before game activation :) Its one time activation and even multiplayer works without it.

:) Loved the Mass effect universe since the first time I played it so I felt the devs deserve my money. I'm mostly a PC gamer but the Kinect voice command sounds interesting. Plus pausing the game to use the power wheel was always one of the things about the 360 version that bugged me.

Order doesn't really matter. They're all independent. I would pick up Kasumi first in any playthrough. Her powers are pretty handy. Overlord and Shadow Broker are pretty well done as well. I'd tell you to skip The Arrival, but I suppose you've already got it so... :p Do the Arrival first if you just want to get the mediocre stuff out of the way. >_>

There's some dialogue stuff at the conclusion of the Shadow Broker DLC that can easily be missed so maybe keep a save before heading up to the cabin for that talk (it also sort of depends on who you romanced in ME1 and 2).

Actually, arrival matters. It gives you war assets in mass effect 3, which can be obtained in many other ways both in the single player game, and outside of it. It's a sort of reward.
