Last of Us [PS4]

not sure if this is mention on in the demo, back + x to do 180 degree turn. Also anyone figure out if theres a lean function? On the E3 play through you can see the camera shift left and right when Joel is hiding at the corner.

A display is simulating a continuous motion, through discrete frames. Even if your game runs at perfect 60fps, or even 120 for that matter, ideal representation of movement requires some sort of motion bluring. It's not just a movie-like effect, it's a form of anti aliasing fully backed by sampling theory.

Yes, you can. Its avaialble right now and has sp bonuses like increased crafting speed, etc, if pre order it now. And doesn't cost much.

After the recent MP leak,, I am also considering pre ordering it as the MP sounds too awesome with DAYZ like feeling. Still waiting for them to officially announce Mp details.

Its actually the opposite. The discs arrive a day or two after the release date while my pre orders worok the moment the clock strikes the appointed time. All my preorders on psn, NFS, BL2, FC3, were preloaded and ready to play before release date.

Thats one of the reasons I love DD, other than the fact that I can switch games without fuss. My friends who preorder discs have to wait for days while my game works on day 1.


I expect it to be the same for LOU, but since this uses an ND installer, it might not unlock till the release time :( !

Yup, SP and MP both are included in the s eason pass. I think they are just three in number, so one could be sp and two MP. The reason i wasn't going for the season pass was cos I wasn't sure of the MP. But the leaked details sound too good on paper, can't wait to see it.
 
wonder why are they keeping it as a secret, its not really like there are strategy marketing reason when the game is so close to release.
 
Well enough of this.. now i pre-ordered it from Amazon.. here is to instant delivery a few days after it's activated on DD.. i was tempted by the amaerican PSN store price.. but it ended up costing the same as my preorder from amazon..
 
Pre-ordered it on PSN just now. How does this work tho? Do I get a message with a download link on the release day or something?

In this particular case you immediately get access to the download client from the PSN store (about 132MB). So you should have already downloaded (or in your download list) the client and all the extra goodies you get from preordering.

Apparently, you can start this client at the release day (June 14th) which will then initiate the download...

I expect the final version to be even better, since this is based on the PAX demo built which came out earlier this year. You can see some of the options in the final version are missing; like lock on aiming. ND also said its the first level of the game that they worked on, usually means its the weakest no? Like how GOW3 intro was the last thing SMS worked on.

I can't find the client, but I did get the pre-order theme.

Hm, I got access to the client, downloaded it (takes only a short time) and now have a Last of Us bubble in my XMB...maybe you already installed, did you check your xmb...icon looks the same for the demo and the client...
