While talking about the graphics, I realized one under appreciated aspect of the gears series:
the sound design. It is really amazing. The great voice-acting also really helps and makes the whole even more believable. I am sure Gears3 will be every bit as good (if not better) than it's predecessors in that department and I can't wait to play it

game looks amazing. I really like the new motion blur and also the texture resolution appears quite high.

Btw the second match starts with a 'remix' of mad world (from the donnie darko edition) which is an awesome nod to the tv ad from the fist game. Damn, it's already been 5 years?? time flies
