Formula 1 - 2009 Season

And while driving in Ferrari is the dream of pretty much every F1 driver, it's even more special for italian drivers, good for Fisichella, and probably damn good for Ferrari's constructors points :D

Yeah, also glad for him. He's not a bad driver, he just never had a really competitive car.
Except a Renault which Fernando Alonso managed to win both championships twice in. But I forget you hate Fernando so I guess it doesn't really count.

Fisi is a much better bet than Luca Badoer so this is good for Ferrari, for Fisi and for the sport because Tonio Liuzzi has unfinished business in F1.

Fisichella was 4th and 5th in championship those seasons, that's not bad at all. Is Massa bad too because he was 4th when Kimi won the championship?

There's a difference being one of the best 3-5 drivers, and being a good driver you know?

He was a clear No.2 in that team, doesn't count for me.
Exactly, we know exactly what the deal was at Renault because of Alonsos actions when he didn't get the same treatment at another team and this years Piquet "scandal".

I am not dissing Alonso here, but we know what the deal is with Briatore and his favourites.

Are you kidding me? Fisi wanted to be number one at Renault at the beginning of 2005. He was much more experienced than Alonso and he pushed for number one status. It seemed to be going his way when he won the first race but then he just couldn't cut it and Alonso destroyed him. Fisi needs to be 100% fired up to drive well, if he isn't he'll quickly turn anonymous in a race.

Key words there are he, wanted, to and be, not he was.

Defense rests your honour.
Key words are "Fisi, 1 win" and "Alonso, no wins" and "Fisi demanded #1" and "Fisi couldn't hack it".

Tonio Liuzzi is much more exciting than Fisi, who has been given a chance in F1 in a competitive Jordan and in a competitive Renault (for two seasons in a row). Now Tonio needs a chance.

Well Ferrari have nothing to lose and it may make Kimi get a bit more keen. They can't win the championship now so a couple more wins would add to the tally and not write the season off totally.

Given that Fisi is a better bet than what they had.

Swapping subjects slightly, do you think Button will win the WDC now simply by people failing to get it into gear for the remaining races? Nobody seems to be able to put up a constant challenge to match his earlier wins.

It's not about wins for Ferrari anymore, its all about the constructors championship and the buttload of cash you get the higher up you finish.

I think button will win the WDC. I hope he wins it by great driving because as far as i'm concerned all button did up untill this point is make the best out of the time he had with a car that was just far better than what the rest of the field had. From the moment the other teams got their cars somewhat sorted out he showed that in my opinion he is nothing more than a average driver that cant perform unless he gets a brilliant car.

.

Er, I think you will find the Bernie looks after Ferrari no matter what they do in the championship. ;) For them wins is now more important to keep up the brand image so we all go out and buy the new 458 Italia.

Is there any online footage of the crash that was supposedly deliberate that has caused the FIA to investigate Renault for race fixing?

I watched the race at the time but I have no memory of the incident. I am curious to know how deliberate it looked.
