First Ghost Recon: Advance Warfighter Single Player Footage (X360)

not sure about those screens but as for the Blim blim Xboxyde video it is from a Preview build from January.

I just want you to know that this version is far from being definitive. If you were thinking about complaining for popping, tearing, audio mix, animation or framerate problems, think again. Also, some textures are still in low resolution. This is a january preview code, and everything should be in its right place when the game comes out.

If only Acert93 were still here, he could add another notch in the qualities-of-GRAW-graphics scale.

Someone call?

UBI did a good thing by delaying this game and getting it in order. The SP is absolutely great. A number of games had great demo targets and fell short (as it appeared would happen with GRAW), but the extra 3 or 4 months has really allowed them to clean it up. Still some graphical bugs here or there, but the game looks really really good and the gameplay looks spot on. 1st 3rd person view I have seen that plays really well in this style of game (basically a FPS with useful 3ps view). A lot of nice touches too, like the well animated hops over fences.

(If anyone missed it, I had started a thread a long while back questioning why UBI was showing so many different quality vids and shots--of the same scenes--and as we know now it was because the game was behind schedule. If it had released in November it would have not looked like this. Two thumbs up to UBI for taking the extra time to get the game polished and running great.)

Btw, how you doin' Inane?

I'm thinking also what we were seeing was more complex than that... I think there are four builds that were floating around simultaneously that are now clearly labeled:

X360 SP - the best looking version
X360 MP - not quite as nice
PC SP - Looks like differnet textures and quality used compared to the x360 version.
PC MP- not sure but saw some video on gametrailers that made me think "this cant be the x360 version!"

but all of them are better because of the extra fourmonths for sure. March 9th will be a great day!

Welcome back bud!

Hey man (blak)! Yeah, that was an issue too--some PR people and/or sites put media in the wrong areas! This recently happened with Oblivion. Anyhow a few people got upset because I was saying "What the...". Glad they delayed though because this is looking like a FPS dream come true. This and PGR3 really have me impressed, not to mention FNR3 really ended up looking great. The HDR effects in that game (and GRAW... and PGR3 now that I think about it) really add a lot to the game and are done well.

Inane--stop rubbing that dang lamp! I was happily in syspended animation waiting fort 2010 PS4/X720 wars when I get woken up for this dang post  The good part is GRAW is worth it ;)

Team X-Box has a mutiplayer map preview up. A few new screenshots along with two new multiplayer videos. One on Desert Gultch, the other on Fishing Village. This is the first time I've seen a video of Desert Gultch.

Great to have you back Acert, I have been so busy with the Olympics and with our superior hockey team that it took me a while to nodest your return. I missed your long thoughtfull posts...

Well I haven't been playing on live that much lately, but I have a feeling that this game is going to change that, I wonder if I will suck in this as much as I did in the previous Ghost Recon games :)
