Haven't seen the video yet, but does it look more impressive than currenct PC games that have 64 or 128 players to a map?

Technically, it's easily superior compared to Battlefield/Tribes/etc, but aesthetically it's a joke, down around the HL/Q2 level.

And how about battlefield 2, which I believe is coming out on xbox.

BF2 isn't a 'current PC game' quite yet, and the Xbox is only getting BF: Modern Combat (which looks more like 1942/Vietnam on low settings). Not sure about X360.

CS Source servers seem to top out at 32 players, though I've seen one or two at 40.

Tribes 2 on the other hand, I once saw a full 256 player server.

Bleh, I think Planetside can have up to like 1000 people on the same server/area.
