Uh, to tell you the truth, that very video you posted made me compare the graphics to nGage in the first place. After all, both machines seem to use software rendering, and have simillar CPU. Have you seen better looking nGage games? That is pretty much how they look. No bilinear filtering, which makes everything in the distance pixelized, perspective correction looks iffy, simple geometry and textures.

I just don't see in what way that looks better than N64 games. The only thing it has going for it is that it has a pretty stable framerate, but then again, everything looks so simplistic that I don't see how it wouldn't.

Wazoo you're comparing PS1 and N64 era, i was comparing Snes and PS1 transition.

Sony choosed for PS1 a "new market" ,"15/25", now Sony is choosing the same market for PSP.
Nintendo keeps the fight on its territory (look at the video shown by Nintendo at their Conf., Kids and teens playing with DS, look at Sony PS Shots for theirs PSP. It's definitely not the same target.)
That's all what i am saying, nothing else.

Nintendo and Sony are only fronting in the "Hardcore gamer market", and that's not the biggest battle (on the money side, of course).

    IGNCube

seems like the recently announced zelda game is in actual fact an entirely new adventure and not a remake as some were suggesting(I think the gu who wrote the gamespy article was the one thinking it could be a remake of the original zelda). Another interesting fact is that the realistic zelda game is running of a modified version of the windwaker engine. It's all in that IGNCube article I linked to. Also apparently a longer video will be shown behind closed doors. IGN promised some "eyes-on impressions" their own words. I'll be looking forward to those

Ok then, give me the links to some good N-Gage game videos. Because I've seen nothing even near that good from N-Gage, but then I don't own one so....

I just took the time to actually watch the E3 conference and all i can say is WOW. Everthing they said feels completely right to me, and has once again shown me why i like Nintendo so much! Miyamoto was a bit strange, but in a funny way ;)

I just wish there was a higher resolution video available, and especially with better sound :?

I don't have one, but nGage Tomb Raider (that I've played) looks very simillar to this as far as graphics quality goes. That new FPS from Nokia looks about that as well, but I really don't have a clue where I saw the video of that.

You're telling me those screenshots are as good as DS graphics? Maybe you should look at DS screenshots at their native resolution because DS graphics are better than those you've presented.

I thought there were two new zelda games(not including four swords) coming to the gamecube. WindWaker2 with cel-shading and this new older looking link version. However gamespot have reported that this game is in fact windwaker2 although it's not a sequel of the last game and it won't be called that when it is released

Is it me or do i fail to see what's so good about this Zelda? Since they promised us that gorgeous "realtime" demo prior to GC Launch, i've been waiting for a "mature looking" Zelda, and now this is what comes out of it?
    Meh...
Maybe i REALLY need to see the video, cause the screens are pretty crappy.

I don't think they promised it would look that good. It was only a tech demo showing off what's possible on GCN like that Rebirth demo.
