I wanted to use the motion control as it was fun, but after getting my butt kicked over and over by a friend, who I'm usually competitive with in driving games, I switched back to the sticks. I drive better with them.
Some circuit time trials rack up fame pretty quickly, and accolades give huge big fame bonuses. You'd have to be attempting a time trial for quite a while to get that sort of score, but it's not outside the bounds of believability.
This is fame score totally legitimate. Thing you mean is points during face offs (small challenges on the track parts). It was broken and could challenge you to beat drift score in high speed face off. Seems like this has been fixed for some time now.

Yeah, I was stunned. I spent quite a few attempts stuck just behind 4:05 and then suddenly went under 4 minutes.I beaten original challenge time first but discovered later that you beaten it
and it's a truly good looking game to. Can't wait to see what developers comes up with, when they have had a few more years to get to grips with programming these consoles
