DriveClub by Evolution Studios [PS4]

Played about half an hour last night of the single player Tour before bed, after a very long-winded PS4 setup (2.00 update, PSN login, privacy settings, then getting used to where things are now since it's completely different to PS3 XMB). Looks fantastic, car handling is fun and I'm really enjoying it.

The only niggle is that some of the online challenges it pulls down for me to beat are totally bugged. Average speed to beat of 1308mph....don't think that's legit somehow.

You need to use gravity slingshots. It's pretty complicated gameplay for an arcade racer.

Apparently, those stupidly high average speed challenges are drift scores. I suppose with the online being screwy results may not have been uploaded correctly leading to this situation.

My theory is the person that set the record was doing a drift challenge, but for some reason it uploaded as a speed challenge probably due to the connection issues.

They're definitely labelled as mph for me and the game treats them as such. Some cleanup for them to do it seems.

They have spoken about it on their Twitter page without going into details apart from saying it's a server issue and they are fixing it.

I've read on gaf that some user had game crashes with recent update, after rolling it back game worked fine. He said that Rushy pmed him about new patch coming today fixing this problem.

Just aw this randomnly:

Wow Wow at the sense of speed ! This Motorstorm crazy aggressive racing right there ! Man, I don't think I can wait any longer for the PS+ version. I might end up emptying my wallet. I have already pre ordered GTA V and Dragon Age, have been controlling myself over this only because there is a free version promised ! Can't.....take.....much .....longer...... !

What the sense to preorder a game which will not come for a few weeks when there is a game you want so much and it's yours now just give out some bucks :)

Bought it already....downloading :p ! I am born fool when it comes to buying games   ! I always end up buying them all :p
The point was to try the free version and buy or if th efree version is enough to provide a good distraction from other games, it could have sufficed.
