Wow, now that's a pure nextgen racer. The lighting and environment detail are really something to be awed with. The amount of trees is ludicrous..

This looks great. I'd much rather drive around/through amazing scenery than a 'proper' racetrack. Having been gaming since the Atari 2600, I've driven round most of the worlds circuits, so many times that I crave new environments.

If they are beautiful, that's a bonus.

AA on thin power lines need work. Other than that, AA seems fine.

Note: Haven't watched the latest video yet.

edit: Just watched the Canada video. Looks amazing. Best interior windshield effect I've seen. (~1:20 mark).

Why does the video look like someone used the dodge tool in paint.net? I grabbed the PS link, but it just looks like a dithered mess. Is there a better version?

Need to see this on PS+ for sure, hard to nitpick about anything other than the usual texture pop on foliage. Edit: The gifs look like they are on another game, LOL.

The motion blur is rather noisy.

Is it in the video or the game, look at how it is different surrounding the bodywork. Has to be the video encoding, thought they would have released a better version after delaying a few days.

Probably a silly thing to note, but they are really drawing a lot of trees ... They were already good at that in Motorstorm: Pacific Rift though ...

True if you look at the shot above you can see where some are greener and later pop to the more lush tree. Really looks great from a distance, be great for open world games. Sexy

They're not rendering them all at once. There's obviously a LOD system in place.

Well that's normal with a pure cinematic experience.

The point of view is in fact a big movie camera, with a big lens, so it reflects every light even the image of the green car on the back of our black car.

Lens flare, motion blur and DOF can only be explained if the scene is really shot with a movie camera.

the grainy motion is blur is definitely annoying. SO is the AA on the wires. TR and Infamous has provided such clean IQ that it gets difficult not to be nitpicky !

Environments are absolutely beautiful !!!! Get the game out already !
